I uploaded Windows 10 but had too many problems, so reverted to Windows 7. Everything works fine as before, except now I can only delete 1 email at a time or sometimes not at all, in my Live mail, in the inbox and deleted items, choosing any method - select, highlight and pressing delete on the keyboard or using right click and clicking on delete in the panel. I get 'an unknown error has occurred' each time.

Following one suggestion, I tried 'repairing' Windows Live Essential 2011 via control panel/ programs/ uninstall/change, but after a few minutes a box appears saying internet not connected, which is not the case as the connection is okay at the time. I have tried this step several times, always getting the same message.  

I really need help with this as my emails are accumulating fast. I can see on the forum, that I am not the only one with this problem and have tried many of the suggestions on the forum without success.
