Hello, asked about this Before, got no useful help, so I ask again - and most likely will until we fix this.
So to copy a piece of my old post: ''I had Windows Movie Maker Before but then I deleted Windows Live folder from C:/ Program Files & Program Files (x86).'' I also deleted, at a later Point, the C:/ Program Files/ Common Files/ Windows Live & C:/ Program Files (x86)/ Common Files/ Windows Live. As instructed by Litton_B in this post: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/moviemaker-program/windows-live-movie-maker-cant-open-uxcoredll/5061c255-deae-4c3b-ae44-8d0714303cf8
When I tried to install Movie Maker through Windows Essentials, again, it stil did not work. It say's that I already have it installed. I tried to install Writer, to allow Essentials to make the Windows Live folders itself - it did, still could not install Movie Maker.
List of Things I've Tried that did not work:
* Taking all the Windows Live folders from a Windows 7 computer and putting them in My Windows 8.1 Computer.
* Deleting the HK Registry Keys for Movie Maker.
* Recreating the Windows Live folders, manually, by moving from Another PC, by allowing Essentials recreate them.
* Resetting Internet Explorer - as intructed by Litton_B in the link.
List of Demands:
* I do not want to use a unofficial software to fix the problem.
* I do not want to use Windows Fixit to fix the problem.
* I do not want to reset the computer fully, nor partially.
I have the System Information, Logs, all that. As instructed by Litton_B in a Post how to get the change logs (or something) I will send it in a private message to the Moderator who undertakes this task if requested.
