I apologise if this comes through to the wrong thread but i have gone through every avenue on the website searching for an answer or correct support contact. Basically I had an email address this was hacked so i spent
a good couple of hours this morning creating a new account and forwarding all important messages to this account. I then went through the motions of deleting the old account and deactivating the email. It asked me to choose a reason and enter my password before
it would work. I did this then logged into the new account to find it had deleted the forwarded emails and account there too! i was not asked to put in the password and wasnt even logged in so now have lost the emails that were important in complete error
of the system. I would like to know what microsoft suggests as i feel it is an error of your software
