When I move my cursor to the right and select settings, there is an option to configure my account. I just deleted my old alias and also changed the primary email to the new alias. Everything else says my new alias such as when I log into windows, accounts in settings for the start page but when I'm in the mail app and I click on settings > Accounts, right under the outlook tile, it still says my old alias. I've logged out and logged back in numerous times. I've disconnected my account from windows and connected it back and still no luck. I'm thinking it's a glitch and that the mail app is still associating my email account with my old alias since it's been freshly deleted. My laptop seems to be fine. It's just my desktop. Also, I am unable to select the "remove" account option. I've also tried restarting my computer numerous times but the old alias is still there. I haven't told anyone my new alias so I haven't received any email but my guess is that I am able to receive email thru my new alias. It just has the name of my old alias under the outlook tile for accounts settings.
Also, all the third party email accounts that I've connected to my account through outlook.com, they were not going through to the mail app. I had to disconnect each one and reconnect them thru the outlook.com website. I have a total of 3 third party accounts connected. I disconnected and reconnected only 2. The third one I don't really use. Is there anyone who can help me with this? I would really appreciate it.
