Hello,

I am getting the following error message when trying to open MS Outlook 2011 for Mac:

There is a problem with the Office database. To use the database, you must rebuild it using the Database Utility.

I tried the Database Utility and it stopped because I did not have enough hard drive space.  But the failed process consumed 40 GB of my hard drive and then ran out of hard drive space.  I could not figure out how to delete whatever files created or consumed my remaining drive space.  I then cleared another 60 GB of hard drive space and tried the Database Utility again, but same problem!  Now I have no hard drive space available.

I looked for backup Main Identity files, but could not find any to delete.

What do I delete or do to get my hard drive space back?

How do I know how big my data base files are so I know how much hard drive space to clear for a third attempt at using the Database Utility?  My Outlook.pst file is 20 GB, and my outlook archive file is 18 GB.

Please let me know if there is a quick way to fix this problem.

Thanks!
