I am involved in creating a dvd for distribution as a gift in New Zealand.  I live in Canada.  What I would like to know is whether I can create the dvd file here and send it as a finished product and let the person create multiple copies to give to friends or should I send the project file along with a finished movie version?  I have read that there are different formats that allow dvds to be seen in other countries and I don't really understand.  Any help would be appreciated.
