Hello! I've been having an issue with Windows Movie Maker causing a crackling or static sound instead of the audio. Restarting the computer fixed the issue before, but it would reoccur anytime the computer slept, and now the issue is continuous. If I restart my computer, any audio on my computer plays fine in any other program. When I open Windows Movie Maker and attempt to play any audio, it crackles as previously stated. Then, even if I close Movie Maker, any audio continues to crackle in any program. I've seen people on here resolve similar issues, but none where the problem extends to other programs afterwards. I'd like help with this issue so that I can continue working on my project. Thanks!
