Guys

When I run Outlook 2012 , the  emails download but when i try and  delete a e-mail it comes up with an error that my profile has  an error would you like to run the repair tool

When i click yes and run the tool , it goes through the  8 stages and then offers me the chance to repair.
When i remove the tick to make the back up and  click on the repair button the software starts run then goes greyed out and says "Not responding"
In task manager  it also shows not responding

(note) This has  occurred since the last updates of Windows  or for  SP 2 of Office

The .pst file is rather large and is  showing as  22gb.
Is there anything that can be done to restore this as I have tried all day with no success
