Copied Folders to SkyDrive but files aren’t showing up on other devices

Hi there,

I downloaded SkyDrive on my Mac, copied over a folder and noticed that while the folders synced to my Windows Surface 2, the files within the folders did not. 

I'm not sure why it's not.

Please advise.
