I'm having problems with Window Live Mail and my contacts on my desktop PC.

Windows Live Mail Version: Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Windows 7 64 Bit

For some reason it seams that WLM is not syncing my contacts correctly with my account.

If I log into outlook.com, and click on 'People', then all my contacts are there fine.

If I then log in with WLM with that account, the contacts in WLM are there, but they seem to be 'old' versions. If I update a contact name or something on outlook.com it is not passing through to WLM (I've logged out, back in, rebooted etc etc). The same with if I update a contact through WLM, it doesnt get synced to outlook.com

If I log out from WLM, then the contacts list is then empty, as I would expect. Logging back in it populates the contact list but I've no idea where its getting that data from as its not my outlook.com account.

Its as if its using a 'local' copy of my contacts from somewhere, even though I'm logged in.

The emails from the account are syncing fine.

If I create a new windows user, to test, and setup WLM from scratch on that new user, then it works fine when I log in, and also the contracts are fine if I use my account on my iPhone, or another computer.

It just seems to be this one Windows account that isnt syncing correctly.

I've read tons of posts and tried lots of things, but I just cant figure out how to make it sync correctly.

I really dont want to remove and reinstall as I have quite a few mail accounts in WLM, and storage folders, and I dont want to have to redo all that.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
