I’ve had a "missing contacts" problem in my Hotmail.com account since June 2013. MS can't seem to fix this or if they have new suggestions, I wasn’t notified. I've reported it with details & included possibly related issues here;

I'd like to suggest another way to try to fix this as follows;

If my d………@hotmail.com can be deleted to completely clear out everything & then set up again with the same name, d……….@hotmail.com, same features, etc, I'd like to do it. I believe this may clean out a lingering cause or perform a reset that could make it work properly again. I've had this acct since 1999 & many people know it I need to keep my same email addr.

If this plan is achievable please give me a few days notice to save some recent emails & notify some of my important contacts that they may see an EM failure msg to my addr while it is between deletion & re-activation.
