Contacts disappeared

Last night all of my contacts on outlook.com disappeared.

All phone numbers and email addresses gone!

I sync this to my galaxy note 2 phone. When I go to the People page on outlook.com it says I have no contacts and there are no contacts to be restored.

I have checked all the filters and searched all the forums, but there’s no answer.

I desperately need these back as its all my contacts!

Anyone have any idea what’s going on and how do I restore them?
