I keep getting the message when I attempt to open an email "we can't connect to Outlook now, check to make sure you are connected to the

internet and try again".  Every time I check to make sure I am connected to the internet I am connected.  When I try again to open an email sometimes I am able to open it but most often I immediately get the same message.  So I exit out of Outlook then log back in again.  After that I am

to open emails again but I get the message again.  The problem happens so often that it gets frustating and difficault to make any head way on bringing down the number of unread emails.
