Hi,

As part of resolving a previous issue, I had to create a new live account.  As a result, I now have a redundant live account that I'd like closed (I need the email released). I've tried to do this through the account.live.com - close account method, but it tells me that I need to cancel those non-existent subscriptions & services that I haven't got.

It seems I am not alone in this issue and the suggested method is to create a thread to get it resolved, so here it is.

The account to close is this one I am writing from. It has no payment methods attached, not outstanding bills or credits, no subscriptions, nothing attached to it other than my email.
