Check my e-mail and noticed it has been renamed to Outlook, however, all my emails are gone

I logged in today to check my e-mail and noticed it has been renamed to Outlook with a smooth new interface. However all my e-mails are gone left is a "Welcome to outlook" e-mail. My hotmail is over 10 years old and I have a lot of e-mail there that I need to read from time to time for reference.

Can you put all my mail back again?

As I understood this is some faulty with Microsoft (as usual) backend, and what is upgrading the account somehow sweeps all e-mail.

Please help me get all my e-mail back. P.S I have never established another application with POP/IMAP to read my Hotmail.
