MODERATORS ARE LOCKING THREADS WITHOUT GIVING ANSWERS. When changing alternate email address, where does reset/security info go during the 30-day waiting period for the old (closed) alternate email address to get removed? Does the security info code get sent to that alternate email address? If so, then it could be going to someone else who has since used that address to open a new account!!!
I AM CONVINCED THAT MOST MODERATORS DO NOT READ USER QUESTIONS, OR THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO ANSWER IN SIMPLE AND CLEAR ENGLISH. OR THEY POST THE ANSWER IN AN OBSCURE LOCATION THAT REQUIRES THE USER TO GO THROUGH A MAZE TO FIND THE ANSWER.
It seems nearly every time I submit a question, the Moderators lock the thread and send me an email telling me to click a link to find my answer. The link in the email goes to a page stating complicated and confusing instructions that I cannot understand. I do everything the instructions tell me to do, but I still cannot find or open the link to read my answer.
THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS MAKE NO SENSE TO ME. (I HAVE TRIED THEM MORE THAN ONCE, AND THEY DO NOT WORK.) MODERATORS PLEASE STOP SENDING EMAIL LINKS TO THIS PAGE. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO ACCESS THE INFORMATION FROM THE PAGE THAT YOU STATE CONTAINS YOUR ANSWER TO MY QUESTION/ISSUE. Please just post the answer on the forum or paste it into the text/body of the email. I AM NOT ASKING FOR ANY SPECIFIC ACCOUNT INFORMATION, ONLY A GENERAL ANSWER TO A GENERAL QUESTION/ISSUE.
The page states (instructions that will not work for me):
