Changes to Outlook, how to do something I was always able to do in Hotmail

I used to be able to drag and drop photos/pics into my e-mail; can no longer do this in Outlook. How can I do this again and why change it??

P.S. HATING the new Outlook email, note to the powers that be, if it aint broke, don't fix it. We don't like it, do you all hear us??
