I have 5 external accounts linked to outlook.com via POP.  Four are at gmail and the fifth is a personal account.  None of the email that's been sent to those accounts has been downloaded to outlook.com since I changed my primary alias. In fact, the first email I didn't get is the auto email that outlook.com sends to your backup accounts telling you changed your primary alias.

Everything was working as it should up until the point where I changed my alias.

I changed my primary alias at 10am EST Tuesday.  After not getting external email for 24 hours, I changed my primary alias back to what it was.  Still nothing over the last 48 hours.

I've edited the external accounts and saved them again, but nothing's changed.

I'm not sure I want to delete the accounts and re-add them because of the amount of email that will come across that will be dupes, but I'm sure I can figure out a way to hack through that if it will work...

Why did changing my primary alias break the external POP account linkages?
