Hi, suddenly my Outlook started showing a window that says "Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error has occurred." Not sure why and it forces me to shut it repeatedly and i have all my work on it !!
I have restarted a few times and updated the version but not what else to do.
Currently using 14.5.7 on Mac 2011...

- tasks also appear in the task list three times

The outgoing smtp is not working at all on my mac mail - I have tried the outgoing port 25 and 587, and have configured this a number of times. I have erased and started again many times and whatever the internet says I've tried. The connection doctor says the username and password are wrong - but typing again also doesn't work.
Also to send eve-ry sin-gle email I have been asked to verify my account - but when I type to verify it asks to send an sms - but you can't type the phone??! - so perhps I am current in a country that doesn't allow sms verification..? But I've also changed from sms to email verification - but it doesn't matter how many times I signed out and in again - hotmail keeps asking the sms verification?

i have some Mac Clients using Office 2011 for Mac with Exchange Server 2010.
I am able to connect Outlook with Kerberos Authentication with my Exchange 2010 Server.
I am using Password Policies. So my End-Users are periodically forced to change their passwords.
If my Mac Users do so, they are promted for a password if they are opening Outlook for Mac.
Is there a way to avoid this password prompt? Or is this behavior by Design?
It seems to me the Kerberos Ticket for Office does not inherit the new Password.
I am searching for a way to still use my Password Policy without password prompt.
Any Ideas?

Hello all,
I'm a mac user running Outlook 2011.
I am trying to set a rule where I only receive e-mail twice a day - at 10h00 AM and 15h00 PM. I tried setting this in the rules section of Outlooks' settings. Attached you will find how I have set up the rules (note: I use multiple accounts in Outlook). I have one Exchange account which I added through 'Add Action'.
When I hit 'OK' and afterwards return to this rule by clicking on the rule in the rule summary folder, the exchange account is not included anymore:
Next to that the rule doesn't work. I did tick the box in the rule summary folder, but after sending an email to all of these accounts they show up within seconds of sending them.

Hey guys, I am using Outlook 2011 for Mac along with Word and Excel to send Requests for Quotes. Problem is, that I need to generate the document as a PDF and then be able to have the ability to add a body message to the actual e-mail itself.
I tried to mail merge using existing database and in 'Generate e-mail messages' the last option in mail merge, it only attaches the document as a .docx and sends it out without letting me attach anything to the body of it.
I am using Yahoo e-mail and I am so confused as Google is not necessarily helping.
How do I send out e-mails from the database I am using (excel) and still be able to attach a CUSTOM document along with a body message and other attachments.
Basically, its one trade but multiple e-mails. Every recieves the same thing except in the main document it says their company name and contact person. I am sure I am over thinking this but I am so confused that I just want to get this done.

Quando usava o PC era possível ativar essa função através do botão "To Do", que não existe na versão para Mac.
Não ter essa função atrapalha bastante o dia a dia, alguém sabe se tem solução?
