Hi.

Does anyone else have problems with Outlook's e-mail synchronizations
with two different computers (Leonovo Thinkpad with 64-bit W7 EE SP1 and
Office 2010 Pro; 15" MacBook Pro with its Mac OS X v10.10.5 and Office
2011)? Sometimes e-mails don't show up (wrong folders), get left behind
from deletions or moves, show duplicates, etc.? Both Outlooks say they
were up to date and synced.

I do not use these 2 (notebook/laptop)s at the same time since IT
doesn't allow 2 simultaneous VPN connections at the same time. Will
upgrading both Outlooks to the latest versions (Mac's 2016 and Windows'
2013) fix this annoying sync problem? IT uses Exchange 2013 server.

Thank you in advance. :)

I have latest updates for Office 2011 and latest OSX El Capitan 10.11.1 version, however as of today my Outlook 2011 no longer opens.

When I click on the icon in the Dock, a dot appears below the 'O' and the gold 'Outlook 2011' banner opens briefly on the page.  then the banner disappears and so does the dot under the 'O'

any ideas what this could be?

thanks in advance

JM

Hey,

I have recently purchased my first Mac, and whilst I love it I am a fan of Office.  I use One Drive to do most of my documents for work as I can open and edit them anywhere, but I am limited to what I can do on the Office Online.  I have tried to open the document in 'word' to edit it, which is an option as I have Office for Mac 2011 on my computer but It won't open, it says I don't have permission?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I'm having to switch back to Outlook 2011 for Mac. I was previously using Outlook 2015 and would like to transfer the "on my computer" folders and content to Outlook 2011.  How can I make this happen?

Hi:

I've used Outlook for Mac 2011 since it was released and love it. However, in the last few weeks I've noticed a minor irritating change that could be due to an update, or could be due to  the fact that I am not very computer savvy and thus accidentally hit something that I should not have.

Normally, Outlook used to default to my "Home" pane/tab at the top of the window when I do anything.

Now, it automatically opens the "Search" pane/tab whenever a new mail folder is accessed (the order of panes/tabs is Home>Organize>Tools>Search from left to right at the top of the window). Search is also purple, while the other 3 tabs are not colored.

Does anyone know how I may fix this so that "Home" is opened by default??? It's not a big deal, but since I am accessing mail folders a zillion times a day this now requires one extra mouse click to get back to the "Home" tab/pane.

Thank you very much!!!

hi

the outlook started having problems by duplicating emails and the dock indicated that there were unread messages but the inbox did not show any new messages.  then an error message appeared "outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close".  I followed steps in a mac help forum that told me to trouble shoot and now I seem to open outlook without it encountering any problems but none of the data is there.  It says that i have not set up an email account.

I think i have duplicated the identity and i tried to copy the folders from the main identity into a new identity and tried to rebuild the database from the new identity, but still no joy.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Hi,

I have a license of Office for Mac2011 and Outlook was working with no problems.

My Outlook was upgraded for Outlook 2016 but after that it is offline and activation demands an Office 365 that I don't want to purchase for now.

How can I back to a previous Outlook version with losing my emails?

Thanks,

Germano

my emails have been coming in with the incorrect times on them—off by at least an hour. how do i reset the clock?
