We are looking to implement moderator distribution lists but have found an issue where the approve/reject option is presented if the moderator is using Office for Mac 2011.  In doing web searches I found this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoffice2011-macoutlook/no-approval-option-for-moderator-of-distribution/9f0ac1d9-b1cb-4306-abfe-c9bece1123f3?db=5&auth=1

This article is more than a couple years old so I'm hoping there is a workaround or update for this issue.

Any assistance?

Microsoft Identity Database...I need to back up what I would call ".pst files" before I rebuild the database...how do I do this?
I prefer the Reading Pane to stay in "Below" mode; however, it keeps going back to "Hidden".  how do I fix this?

I've upgraded to El Capitan and also to Office for Mac 2011 ver 14.5.8. Outlook was not performing well after the OS upgrade, which is why I went to 14.5.8. As I tried Mail Merge for the first time since the upgrades, it can’t find my Office address book: Word could not merge the main document with the data source because the data records were empty or no data records matched your query options.

Outlook clearly shows all my contacts under the header Address Book, so I can’t figure out why Mail Merge can’t find the contacts. I had to rebuild Outlook several times after the upgrades, so I’m not sure if this is the problem.

After Updating to El Cap on my Mac Book Pro running Office 2011 every time I open or reopen my outlook client the window doesn't remember my settings and resizes to about a quarter of the screen.  That isn't so bad as all the custom alignments I have made in my viewing window are gone too.  I tried the trick of going into he saved config files buried under GO Library and moved them out and back in again and the problem goes away for a while but after about a day the same thing occurs.   The procedure called for re entering the 5 files one at a time which I did but none of them caused the symptoms right away.  i.e as soon as I put them back.  The other problem with this action is that it is very unfriendly and it takes a great deal of reconfiguration each time to get Outlook set back up the way I want to use it.

Anyone else having this problem?

Are there any fixes out there?

Honestly, MAC is the WORST.  To confirm, Mac does not support a Read Receipt in Microsoft Outlook?
I have just added a second account and incoming mail to this account is repeated at each download the original account is fine. Any suggestions please?

I want to be able to move my email contacts between my Mac and my Android phone.  Is there a way to synchronise these automatically like the folders and messages are?

Manually if automatic is not an option?

In another Android email client if K9 is not an option?

Other suggestions that are not including using Google?

Thanks

I no longer have an email address associated with my outlook account as the company closed and the email address is no longer active. When I removed the account it deleted most of the meeting invites but has left 3 reoccurring appointments. I have tried deleting them on numerous occasions and it looks like they are deleted until I close out of the program and then go back into it. Every week I get three reminders of meetings that no longer exist and it is driving me crazy. Please advise on how these can be deleted.
