I bought a new Mac yesterday and installed Office:mac 2011.  Everything is working fine except for Outlook.  When I try to add an account - IMAP nothing happens.  To get out of this area I have to force quit.  I have tried reinstalling Office:mac several times with no luck.  Does anyone have a solution for this.  My Mac has EL Capitan 10.11.1

How do I export email folders from Mac (imail) to an HP using Outlook

Hi,

I've been using Microsoft Office on my Macbook even since i bought it last year in 2014. I used Word, Powerpoint and Excel but have never used Outlook before. Now when i open Outlook, it says to enter my product key. I don't know where i placed my product key. And when i tried to login using my Microsoft account, it says my account is invalid.

Regards,

Dinn Sahar

i have copied outlook data from microsoft data folder to external hard disc. Now i wan to bring it back to mac . I have not used export or import facility while copying it to external hard drive.

Please advise how to bring it back to mac. As I am stuck in doing so.

I keep receiving error code 19124 and am unsure how to fix this.  I am designated as a delegate on the MS outlook exchange account.  When I send a meeting invitation, the meeting request does not appear on the calendar of the person I am delegated to (even after I have accepted the request for the person I am delegated to).  Error details state, "This meeting was removed from the calendar, or a response to a more recent update was sent in another e-mail session."

This appears to only be an issue when I send out the meeting invitation; for others that I am not delegated to, the meeting requests appear on their calendars.

Any help is really appreciated.

From what it appears, it is not possible for people to natively approve or reject messages to moderated groups using Outlook 2011 or Outlook 2016.  Only using OWA which is too inconvenient.

I already submitted feedback to Microsoft using the form in Outlook 2016.

Does anyone know of an upcoming fix for this or if there's some way to import the form from Outlook 2013?

no matter what i do i cant make this stop . i no longer have access to the original information please help.

The server for account "Gmail" returned the error "[AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] Invalid credentials (Failure)." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect.

Running Outlook for mac 2011 - latest 14.5.8 is installed.

Something really strange is going on for several users. When I setup an exchange account all the latest mails are being downloading - but it newer finish to download mails to my inbox. So If a new email is send to me, it will not show in the inbox

It has been standing for days actually, and it newer finish. I can delete the account and add it again, than the latest mail appear, but then again no new mail will come in as it keep standing as downloading.

I have seen this issue for more users suddenly . I have tried to remove office totally and install without updating it, if it was a bad update etc - but still the same is happening.

On windows outlook it is working fine ? - So I guess it only can be a local outlook client problem on the mac ??

I installed El Capitan yesterday and the title says it all. All my Outlook "on my computer" emails were gone. So I looked online to try and work out how to find the file... But all advice says look for a .pst file. But there is no .pst file that I can find. All I can find is a database file located at Documents / Microsoft User Data / Office 2011 Identities / Main Identity...

So if I try and import that database file...

I open Outlook.

Select File / Import

Select Outlook Data File

Select Outlook for Windows Data File

I go to Microsoft User Data / Office 2011 Identities / Main Identity

But all I see is the Microsoft Outlook Database, which the wizard will not let me select.

Help! And sorry for being clueless. Used to be a PC guy.

Cheers

Henry

When I ask to export my e-mails, I get the message that the application was interrupted and it cannot continue. How can I successfully export my e-mails?
