Hello, please does someone know how to set up this in outlook?

I've seen several questions similar to mine (no emails being received) but no answers. This issue should have a fairly direct resolution since it is fundamental to using email on a newer MacBook Air.

A week ago, I installed Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac and tried to configure two email accounts. One uses my own domain name and the other is a Gmail account. After setting up the accounts, I was able to send messages from both but no emails have been received. However, the test messages were received on my iPad, a PC, and via web browsers.

I have spent a week researching this issue and each time I found something close, I changed my account information, but to no avail. Once, I found a query almost identical to mine that had 47 messages back and forth over three months or more. The person with the problem was sent back and forth between Microsoft support and Mac support. She patiently answered the questions and provided information requested. None of the replies were helpful to that poor person with the issue similar to mine. Please spare me this!

Thanks in advance.

says user name, password, or security settings are wrong. I can access outlook.through safari and all is OK. I just can't get it to send on my Outlook computer.

Can someone send me help

Hi,

I have Microsoft Outlook saying my IP is blocked on a 'local' database on my mac. I don't know where or why it is being blocked.

Could it be maybe saying this message because of a firewall issue? This only started this morning with no previous issue.

This is the error:

I can't see anything that should be stopping it.

I can put the computer on a different network and it does work and I can send out. The issue is this computer needs to sit on the office network and the IP is static.

Flushed the DNS, tried Google's DNS but obviously that's not the issue. This is happening on 1 other mac.

They are just POP accounts as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

Im on a mac OS X 10.10.5 with Office Version 14.5.9 (151119).

I have created a new keyboard shortcut to try to stop outlook sending emails and invites by mistake.

Under the system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts > App Shortcuts I have added one  for Send (alt, cmd, shift, P) but it still sends the email or invite when I hit return, its so annoying!!

How can I overcome this?

1- I ask for confirmation : with Outlook for Mac, a message can't be sent with a "read receipt" ?

2- I want to have a "google" calendar (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) in Outlook for Mac. How shall I do ?

No matter from which account I reply to an e-mail, the sender's name (FROM) is always provided as the one used to register the software. Yes, it can be manually changed each time when composing the reply. But I want to have different names attached to the different accounts listed in Outlook.
