Hi,
I was forced to create a new identity because my old one kept crashing. After creating the new one I went to the Data Records folder of the old one and copied all the folders (Arrangements, Categories, Contacts, etc) to the new identity's Data Records folder. Everything is in the new identity except all of my entries in the Junk E-Mail Protection Filter Safe Domains. Any idea where I can find these in the old identity (ie which folder, etc)?
Thanks,
George
i just bought a new computer Mac and copied all my files over from the old computer. When I opened Excel for the first time, I input my Product Key and it worked no problem. Now I have opened Outlook and it is asking me again for the Product Key. When I enter it, it says my product key is not valid. I'm wondering why it is prompting for a product key at all since I have already activated it on this computer and then, why it isn't working when I do enter it.
I have Microsoft Office 2011 (no Office 365).
Thanks!
Hi, Please help...
I have tried to read up the same problem that others have.
tried the solutions provided, but it still did not solve my problem.
I am using OS X- 10.9.5
i am not able to receive or sent any email from outlook mac 2011
this problem happened after i tried to log in from CHina via VPN.
Which i have done it previously and there was no problem after.
The error code message and my gmail setting is attached below
I receive this error when trying to sign in via my student account on Office 2011 on my Mac. The install of Office 2011 worked fine, but signing in does not. I'm running OS X 10.7.5
Sorry, there was a problem while trying to connect to your account. (Error code:0x80048103)
I've googled and tried the following things, to no avail:
- changing my location from UK to US in system settings
- the same via a VPN
- removing and reinstalling
I've also read something about making sure 2-step verification is disabled on one's Outlook account, but as I'm signing in (or trying to) via a college email address I can't do that. I can see from my Office 365 account that 0 installs have been used.
When I try to export my 507 contacts to an olm file, I always have a 2kb file with no data "inside". I've tried to export using vCards, but when I import then, the field NOTES of almost all contacts are corrupted/missing contents.
Can someone help me please?
Thiago.

After reinstallation of Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac from my Timecapsule (after a clean installation of 'el capitain') oulook rebuild proper my e-mailfile. But when ik press the send button I get the message that I have to activate my account account. However I do not have anOutlook account. And when I press the activate button I get the mesagge that there is an instalation failure. What to do. Who can help me?
How do I export my contacts in Outlook 2011 for Mac to my Outlook 2010 for windows?
When I export contacts from Mac Outlook 2011, I can only export a text file for the windows version. When I try to import the txt file into my Office 2010 for Windows using the Tab Separated values for windows option to my contacts folder, nothing shows up in the folder even though it looks like it is importing the data. Is there another option?
Thanks Don
I have read countless posts and I've tried a number of suggestions I found that may be relevant but I'm starting to throw in the towel. Here is my situation. I have a 2010 iMac desktop which is running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. and I have Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 (version 14.5.9) installed on it and use this for my work email. Due to the nature of my work, I must have records of client emails so retaining these is very important. My email account through GoDaddy.com was setup as a POP account.
One day a couple of months ago, I was happily using my Outlook for Mac and it crashed. I somehow got it to run again, but I am unable to receive emails. When I hit Send/Receive it crashes again. So I have just been working "offline" to be able to view old emails and just use GoDaddy's webmail online to send/receive new mail. The weird thing is, I am able to send emails still using Outlook if I go "online," hit send, and then quickly go back offline. I tried to backup (i.e. export) and rebuild, but it crashes every time. I get error message 18000. I realize this is usually a memory issue however each folder is under 2GB and I have 300GB (out of 500GB) memory available.
Due to these issues, I decided to upgrade to Office 365 through GoDaddy and installed everything on my new MacBook Air laptop. I would really like to get my old emails off of my desktop and install the new Outlook for Mac 2016 on my desktop and begin using that. I'm just not sure how to get my old emails and very scared about losing years worth of client emails. Perhaps the files are just too big and it's better to keep them separate from my new Outlook? I do use Time Capsule nightly and do have one for the night before my computer crashed. I'm also unsure if I need to upgrade my OS to something like Yosemite.
I really appreciate any advice. I've spent full days trying to fix this and at my wits end. Thanks all and Happy New Year!
