I am using Office for Mac on multiple iMacs and other Apple devices through exchange. I often begin writing an email and don't finish and it gets automatically saved to my drafts folder. However, I am in multiple locations and would like a method of syncing the draft folder so I can finish my work wherever I am. I understand this may not be possible so I was hoping to redirect the auto email save to another folder which will sync. Seems it can be done on Windows but I can't figure it out on the Mac version.

Please help me!

we have recently upgraded our Exchange server from 2007 to 2013. I have a user that is using an apple laptop and unfortunately the client is not able to connect to the server using Outlook.

The error is  account cannot be added. Note that Outlook 2011 requires exchange server 2007 SP1 Rollup 4 or later.

Any suggestions as am trying to connect to 2013 with latest updates

Hi community.

At the start of 2015, I bought myself a Macbook and MS Office 2011 to go along with it. I installed it that night but i deleted the things that I know i would not use to save space, a pretty stupid thing to do now that I'm thinking back. One of the things that i deleted was the email client Outlook.

I would now quite like to get this program back onto my Macbook but i reckon I'd have to uninstall then reinstall the whole package. The only problem that i have with that is i do not know where my product key is. Is there a way can can find it online or request a new one in anyway?

Thanks for any help.

Evening

I'm moving to Outlook 2011 from Mac Mail

I have a lot of subfolders. Is there an easy way to mirror what I have in Mac Mail, in Outlook?

I can export mailboxes from Mail, and then import into Outlook, but unless I'm missing something the following consequences apply:

  • Mail only exports emails in the highlighted mailbox, therefore I would have to export each one individually. This includes sub folders. This would take a long, long time
  • Importing to Outlook does not retain the folder names. So I would need to go into each one individually and rename. Subfolders too
  • Because of the above two scenarios, it looks like I would have to manually export each individual email folder, then import each of those folders, changing the name from mbox to the correct title, and then manually dragging the sub folders into their correct place

Am I correct in thinking this? It's essentially hours of manual intervention

Is there a way to do this without all this admin? I basically need to mirror Mail setup in Outlook 2011 and have all emails accessible in their correct folders

Any assistance hugely appreciated

Cheers

Hi

I recently installed office for mac 2011 (version 14.6.2). I setup my mail perfectly with exchange server 2007. It was working flawlessly for about 24 hrs, after which it constantly asks for username & password and remains disconnected.  I've contacted the Microsoft tech support, with no success.  Apple say its a Microsoft issue.

Please assist, desperately need help!!

Outlook for Mac 2011 with an Exchange Server

I have folders in my inbox with subfolders.

One of these folders opened in a new window, not sure why.  I closed that window and the folder started to disappear out of my inbox.  It is not in the deleted folder or moved to any other folder in Outlook.  Any thoughts on recovering this?  No Time Machine backup, asked IT to restore, hopefully they can.

Thanks.
