Hi,
I am using a MacBook Air. My professional Outlook never displays print screens images sent from time to time by other colleagues (they all use PC's with Windows OS), i instead have a little blue question mark icon.
Do i need to download a specific plugin to display those print screens? Could someone help me out with this please?
Thank you for your assistance.

OK - I know others have had this problem. I wanted to discuss this with someone who could walk / talk me through how to fix it but, 3 calls to customer care later, all I'm given is an email (lucky I can access my emails on my phone and not just on Outlook) telling me to register at this site and learn from everyone else's problems. Great. So, having lost 3 hours of my day already reading about potential solutions (here and elsewhere), I'm now stuck at square one.
What's my gripe? Simple: I have the spinning wheel of death on Outlook for Mac 2011. Never had it before - it suddenly appeared and now, of course, it won't go away. I had thought of using my backups via Time Machine but I can't access Outlook to enable that. I'm tempted to delete the program and re-install it (hardly ideal, but I don't see that I have many choices). Anyway, here I am to see if this part of Microsoft Customer Service can help...
Apologies if I sound a tad miffed, but I am :)

I am having issues with outlook syncing with my IMAP inbox. I came into work Monday and noticed nothing had been synced since Friday after doing a repair on the inbox I had the messages Friday- Monday but everything else had disappeared prior to Friday in the main inbox. After this I removed the account built a new identity and added my account to outlook. All of my archive folder started to sync immediately (all 5000 ended up coming through) but my inbox constantly watching the progress windows would come up and show 0/1500 and disappear after a few seconds even after waiting for an hour my inbox never fully showed up only 14 messages from the past two days (I have had more than that). The webmail my from provider which reflects exactly what is on my server shows all of the inbox. Adding my account to mac mail I get all of my inbox within 15 minutes or so. On Iphone and android readding my accounts my inbox syncs up as well.
Hello,
I have Mavericks and MS Office 2011 (all are completely updated). I have Exchange 2010 and can view my Public Folder tree AND successfully Subscribe to them. I can even view the Permissions, Storage, and General tabs on the Properties of each PF. So I can gather up to this point that my server settings are correct and functional within Outlook 2011.
However, back in the main Outlook window, the 'Subscribed Public Folders' folder does not list anything. As a matter of fact I can't even click on that folder.
I have tried 3 times to create a brand new identity with the same result. I've even tried on a different Mac system altogether. I've rebooted a bunch of times as well. No, I didn't rebuild the database as creating new identities accomplishes the same thing when dealing with Exchange so I know that's not it.
Anyone have any clues as to why this behavior is happening?
I have four emails connected to Outlook on my computer all from webmail06.register.com All accounts were connected and working great up until about three hours ago when I begin receiving the #5.5.1 error message for any outgoing or incoming mail. I reset the main account information and it synced up with my email account ONCE, updating my email and allowing me to send one email. Within ten minutes, however, I was receiving the same #5.5.1 error. I have tried resetting each account twice with all of the same information; it seems to have stopped being able to authenticate for my computer.
I also checked my email function on the main website for each email account and the website and my email function seems to be working fine. What seems to be the connection issue? Since the website seems to work, the account information hasn't changed, there was one successful authentication and then repeated failure?
Thank you
