I have just added 2 new imap email boxes to my outlook. I have them running on ipad and iphone with no issues but the laptop keeps popping up with an error message.

I keep getting the following:

"The server for account "Geffen Mike" returned the error "maximum number of connections from user +IP exceeded (mail_max_userip_connections). Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?"

I know the username/password for the emails are correct as i'am still able to send and receive.

Anyone got any clues as to how I can fix?

Thanks

Help needed. Yesterday when I restarted my Macbook I could not open outlook. It will blink and then disappear.

Hi,

When I open outlook for mac, I enter my live account ID and password, the system appears to find me but then tells me my username or password are incorrect.  I am not miskeying my user name and password, it appears something is going wrong with the validation. Consequently, I cannot activate the software. I had an existing live account which then became the account for subscription to office 365 home.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Suddenly, I stopped receiving desktop alerts/notifications for new emails. I still get them for Calendar events/reminders though.

I double checked my Preferences, those are correct. I tried to Reset my alert dialogs, that didn't help either. I also came across a post that suggest to do step #4 from this article:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2409331

I also made sure that they weren't showing up on a different desktop, and they aren't. I also haven't installed any new programs.

Please help... Thanks!

Hi All

Im sure this worked before - but when I go to copy and paste an image from clipboard into any new email message nothing happens ?

Can you not paste images into outlook any more ?

Hi,

Can anyone help me.  I accidently duplicated my email accounts in the Accounts folder on Outlook 2011 and since then every 30 seconds or so an "Account" box pops up and asks for my account information (username and password). Even though I enter the information and click save password it keeps popping up for all my accounts.

I have tried to remove the duplicated email accounts and whenever I try to open the "Accounts" in either preferences or the tools menu it just freezes Outlook.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

Hello,

Our Outlook for Mac 2011 users open shared mailboxes which they have Full Access to by adding them to their 'People I am a delegate for' list.  The shared mailbox contents appears and the Mac user can reply to emails but the expected purple reply arrow is not shown.

Checking the same mailbox in OWA the reply arrow also does not show.

Replying to a message from OWA will create the arrow and this will display in Outlook for Mac though.,

All mailboxes are on a single Exchange 2010 SP3 infrastructure.  We have tested with multiple Macs with multiple mailboxes and all seem to be effected.

Can someone else with a similar setup add a delegated mailbox and confirm that their reply arrow get's created correctly please?

Thanks, Ryan.

Details; mail could not be sent;

Account name "AccountXXX"

error code: -19963

This error occurs about every hour.

Have to quit outlook to get email after error shows up

Hello,

is it possible to save the currently selected attachments in a folder with AppleScript? I only found out how to proceed with emails but with attachments.

Just to clarify, the email selection itself does not have the focus but the attachment and I just want so save the attachment not the whole email as EML.

When I send an invite in outlook Mac 2011, the recipient does not have an option to accept.  This does not allow me to verify that he a) got the invite and b) can attend or not.  Quite odd.  Some recipients can accept, and others can not.  Any similar issues?
