Ok I've been dealing with this problem for months. For some reason I cannot see ANY of my contacts or calendar entries. If I put in a contact my contact list is blank. If I search for a name, the name will appear but only when I search for it, otherwise all my contacts are blank. If I make a calendar entry, my calendar come up blank BUT the reminder does pop up and show what I entered. I am completely baffled. Things I have tried

1. Import another set of contacts and they will all show until I close contacts. Once i open it back up, BLANK.  If I do a search, all the duplicate contacts for that name show up that I have imported. erase the name out of the search and no contacts in my list. Search only works but i need to know the name.

2. I have rebuilt Outlook several times, no avail

3. It been such a long time ago but I think I have deleted Outlook 2011 and reinstalled and still not calendar or contacts.

My email works fine, thank you

I am looking for a way to make outlook send the message I'm currently editing and put it in a "Waiting" folder (and not the Sent messages).

If such a sequence is not possible, I thought of adding the text *WF* at the bottom, adding myself as bcc and save and then have a separate rule that moves any message with *WF* to the waiting folder.

I am repeatedly getting this error message and have no idea to stop them!

Could not synchronize record: Re: [email subject] to Exchange server: [server name]

Can anyone tell me what I need to do please?

Thank you!!

Dear all,

I am having the following problem with outlook 360 on imac maverick .

when i open a message and try to reply to the sender by clicking on his email address or other persons email address listed in the message, (reply windows) will not start.

Best example is when you try to do this under windows a reply windows will start.

is there any settings i should adjust so that quick click to reply option works? or is office 360 iMac version a different than windows?

Thank you in advance for your help

At the office we have both pc and mac.  Syncronicing with contact list in SharePoint with contact in Office 2013 on pc  works well.  It is possible to do the same with office 2011 on mac?

I have seen a few posts to suggest that this isn't possible but just wondering if this had maybe changed with a SP?

To clarify, I want to increase the size of the folders in the navigation pane.

Thanks

Hi,

I have a Mac at home running Maverick  10.9.5 with iTunes 11.4.

I’m using Outlook 14.4.4  to access my corporate  Exchange server.

I want to be able to access my Agenda (not my email) from my personal iPhone. Accessing directly the Exchange server is not possible from my iPhone.

I searched the Internet for a solution hoping that the one described

 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkvwzs86Iq8 would  work.

After having performed the same steps I do have the Outlook agenda in iTunes and it appears also in my iphone but it is empty.

I tried to reset the sync service but no change.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Dids

Hello,

I have read threads on the issue I am having and nothing has seemed to work.  I am using OS X 10.9.4 and Outlook 2011 14.4.4   Whenever I search for anything, in any context, I get zero results (this had been working for the last 10 months or so without a problem).

These are the things I have done:

  • Made sure that "Mail and Messages" are part of enabled categories in Spotlight
  • Rebuild Outlook Database
  • Moved my 'Microsoft User Data' form ~/Library/Preferences/ to ~/Documents
  • Uninstalled the entire Office 2011 suite
  • Reinstalled Office 2011
  • Added ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data to Spotlight's 'privacy' list
  • Removed ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data to Spotlight's 'privacy' list (this recreated the index).

The weird part is that while spotlight is indexing again, I have a search going on (which returns no results).  When spotlight finishes, the search results are displayed:

But as soon as I try searching again, I get nothing back!  This leads me to believe that the index is recreated and Outllok works fine for some time, but then something just messes it up again.  Any help is appreciated - Outlook without search capabilities is pretty much useless to me:

Currently, I sync my Ipad and IPhone calendars with a Google calendar and it's worked flawlessly.  However, I have recently purchased a new PC and all of the MS Office 2013 suite, including Outlook.  I would like to utilize my new products and built an extensive calendar in outlook.  I already use the mail and the Apple devices work fine with everything.  However, when I set up the Ipad and IPhone calendars to sync with the Outlook calendar, it shows about 2/3's of the data I have input.  If some, why not all?  Also, adding an appointment on one apple device eventually shows up on the other Apple device (albeit slowly), but the changes did not show up in my PC view of the calendar.  I've compared several appointments and they are set up identical,  but one may show up and not the other.  Is this an Apple issue or an Outlook issue?  Office 2013

Two years ago, I set up a few rules to direct emails on certain topics into folders. I'm trying to edit the rules, and can't find any sign of them -- there are no rules to edit when I open up the "rules" box (toos/rules). The rules are clearly working, though -- the emails continue to flow into those folders.

I'm using IMAP mail with Outlook 2011. My email provider is goddaddy. They don't offer a "rules" option on the server side via their web browser (secureserver.net), so it's clear that I established the rules with Microsoft Outlook.
