Hi, recently, I've started to have sync issues with my mailbox in Outlook For Mac, suddenly it begun to sync just each 30 mins, even if I click "Sync Now" or if I click "Send and Receive All" buttons.

On my phone (Android), it syncs normally (each 5 mins or when I sync manually).

Please, can anyone help me?

Regards,

Omar

I am receiving the following errors every 15 seconds:

Permission Error. Changes to the event "Management Meeting" could not be saved because you do not have the appropriate permission.
Permission Error. Changes to the event "" could not be saved because you do not have the appropriate permission.

I have narrowed it down to a calendar that is being shared with me. When I remove the shared calendar the error messages go away. When I add it back the error messages come back.

How can I make the error messages stop?

I have Outlook for Mac 2011 - and when the program is open, the new mail notification sound plays randomly... even though there's no email. Ive reset notification preferences and it didn't do any good.  Im not getting any type of mail as Ive already confirmed that.

Anyone have a solution?

My organization uses Office365 Exchange Online as our email platform. We are primarily a Windows organization, but we have one user who is committed to Mac.

Recently, he is seeing major delays (upwards of an hour or two) in receiving emails in Outlook. No problems on the web platform, so the emails are definitely getting into his account. Additionally, they are getting down to his phone as quickly as they should. The problem seems to be specific to Outlook for Mac.

Interestingly, he is connected to several accounts through Outlook, but only having this issue with the Office365 account.

Based on the timing of the issue (and a preliminary Google search on the topic) I have suspicions that the issue is related to the recent Outlook for Mac patch. I have nothing concrete to back that up, however.

Sometimes he needs to reboot his system fully to force a sync with the server. Closing Outlook and reopening the program does not seem to make a difference.

Has anyone had a similar issue in the last week or so? Does anyone know of a potential fix?

I am attempting to import some email messages into Outlook for Mac 2011 from Apple Mail. The help topic is pretty straightforward; close Mail, click Import, select Apple Mail. Great, except Apple Mail is not on the list of choices. Is there something I'm missing? The only choices are Outlook data file or Entourage or text file.

i have been receiving error report from ms outlook ever 15 seconds and outlook needs to close everytime.  this is delaying my worl.  please see details of the error.  please help me correct this.

thank you.

Don't know if anyone finds this an issue but I rely on search in emails a lot. So now with either the yosemite change or the latest update to outlook, when performing a search, rather than showing the latest results on top and keeping the focus there while other results pile up underneath, it still shows the latest on top but forces the cursor/view down to the results that are displaying below.  So you can't just open the recent ones and ignore the rest, you have to wait until it loads everything.

This is pretty time consuming to wait for all these results to display and then have to scroll up to the latest at the top again.

Anyone have a workaround / solution to this?

thanks

I'm using an outlook 2011 for mac, my company email is https://mail.[mycompany name].com

So i type in and everything works, but after a few minutes, outlook disconnects from my email server. When i check, the email server has been changed to a different wrongful address. i re-type but this still happen.

How can i fix it?

I have upgrade my MacBook Pro to use Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). In doing so I have found that the Office Outlook Mail Client (version 14.4.5 (141003)) does not appear to be able to get email from the previously configured Exchange server. I followed some instructions on the internet for reinstating my "Identity", by removing a .plist file, and deleting my identity from the "Microsoft Data" folder. But this has had no effect on the result. I'm still unable to connect to the server.

In fact, in recreating my account I am now getting constant requests from the client to "Allow" trust to a https redirected auto discover service. This question dialog is appearing repeatedly. I have tried the AppleScript solution that is mentioned elsewhere in this forum which says to apply the following script to stop the message, but that fails with a scripting error:

tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
set background autodiscover of exchange account 1 to false
end tell

I don't know what else to try. Can you please help as using the web interface to Outlook / Exchange is very inconvenient.

Cheers,  S t u a r t .

I haven't been able to solve this issue that recently popped up for me. Around the same time that I updated Outlook 2011 for Mac to 14.4.5 I also changed servers that I receive email from.

When I delete an email from any IMAP account (5 different email accounts all on the same server but different domains) I shortly thereafter get a "Message Unavailable" from "System Administrator." Sometimes, but not all the time, this Message Unavailable will go away with the next refresh, but most of the time it stays there.

Outlook is set to download the entire IMAP message, not just the header. There are no other active clients receiving email, however when I do receive/view/send/delete from another client, such as my iPhone I do not have any issue like this. I've done the obligatory rebuild of the database.

Can anyone help me out on this issue?
