Outlook 2011 keeps re-importing emails for my default yahoo email account. Sometimes it stops in the middle of an import and starts all over again (32,000 emails).
What might be wrong?

I can receive mail but cannot Send.

For reference, I did try
Open Outlook > Go to File > New > Select ‘Folder’
The "folder" option is not highlighted, so I can't select. it.
I am getting this error often. Emails with attachments often get hung up. It seems to be with specific mp3 files. But when i send the files from other mac devices or widows 8 or 7 computers it works with out delay. Baffled.

I had created a folder under on my computer in Outlook 2011 and moved my emails to the same. Recently, I had to get my OS reinstalled and when i restarted Outlook I couldn't see this folder. How do i get this back? I had backed up all the data from my disk before the re-imaging but i dont know how to retrieve this now. I guess my Outlook identity could also have changed.
I am trying to transfer my MS Outlook 2011 mail, contacts, etc between an older iMac and a new MacBook Pro. I open MS Outlook on my current iMac and "export" to .olm. Then I try to "import" the file that reads Outlook for Mac Archive.olm to my new MacBook.
The file is nearly 800 MB. I get one Office Reminder that pops up immediately and after several minutes a box that reads "Outlook has finished importing your data". But the inbox is empty and there were no contacts. I can send and receive on the new computer.
I just cannot get my previous meals from the old to the new. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi, i have a macbook pro running OS X 10.10.1. In the past Outlook gave me an error that it needs to rebuild database, which would then rebuild the database, and I was able to use outlook. This happened three times in the past, and consequently i had some emails listed three times, and i was not able to open the attachments to this emails. So finally yesterday, i deleted my account and setup a fresh account, and everything seems to start working again. However, since morning today, Outlook is repeatedly crashing with the following error details:

Several problems:
Outlook uploads two copies of all emails - this does not happen on IMail or any other device so it must be something to do with Outlook itself
There is no Outbox. It appears briefly when I boot up the system them disappears. There is an email in there which will not send as the attachments appear to be too large. However, when i mange to get into it - before it disappears - it will not allow me to delete or alter the message that is in the Inbox
Any suggestions on either problem?
