After updating to Office for Mac 2011 14.4.7, I have problems with about 15 past appointments that continually send reminders. I have tried deleting these appointments (many times in various ways), but they not only remain, they keep duplicating themselves. I am now getting over 1600 reminders for these same appointments. Finally had to turn off Office reminders.

I also am having trouble syncing Outlook calendar on my desktop with my phone. I have over 1400 sync conflicts.

Hello bsangeor,

I am curious if you ever got this figured out?  I am in the same position - I installed the entire Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, and I want to completely remove Outlook, but keep the rest of the applications.  I know there is email taking up a lot of space on my disk drive and also want that to be removed when I remove Outlook.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

John

Hello Tony

A very happy new year to you.

I wonder if you can resolve my problem.  I have the latest machine of the year now. The iMAC 5K 27 inches Retina Display with OS X Yosemite.

Can you help me with Outlook 2011 there?

In outlook 2011 in my iMac 5K Yosemite. I have just installed outlook 2011.  I am unable to add POP email account. When I click Email Account in the Tools>Account menu, nothing happens.  Though, I am able to put info in Exchange email, which I don’t want.  Have you or someone has overcome with this problem?

I have reinstalled 3 times, after uninstalling the previous completely but everytime failed.

Thanks
Reny

Hi

I have tried without success to import information from outlook on pc to office mac 2011.  The PST file is 800mb and contains about 9 folders and several emails.  Everytime it imports the folder structure shows on the Mac Outlook but no emails are there at all....  I have tried creating new pst files for each individual folder but still get the same result.  Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have re-submitted this issue to the Microsoft Community because I marked my previous submission as solved.

I am using Office for Mac 14.4.7.

I am having a problem with Outlook, but only sporadically.

When hitting the Send/Receive, I sometimes get the following error: Error 3253 "Connection to the server failed or was dropped".

Most of the time Outlook sends and receives normally, but then I'll get this error 4 or 5 times in a row, then it works fine again.

It also happens when a scheduled Send/Receive All occurs...again intermittently.

I am having this problem with my iMac, and with my MacBookPro.

I have also re-submitted this on Apple Support Communities.

Please...any ideas?

In outlook 2011 can I use .photo. Domains for my e mail or are the new domains not supported?  I can get .com emails to work but not my .photo. I am trying to set it up as a pop account

thank you

I'm sorry - what???  I don't know what that means as far as why it suddenly stopped working. I don't get it. It sounds like this is a common issue.

Hope this helps!

this is not helpful at all

I have read a bunch of threads concerning the error in the subj block.  I've tried everything, and don't understand why tit keeps appearing.  It started when I sent an email with about a 66MB attachment.  I went offline, deleted it from the "outbox" and from my deleted items folder. Updated latest software for MS, restarted my MAC, and it continues to appear.  I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
