in outlook for PC you can copy/paste some exel cells in the body of the mail keeping the format like colors, insert cells, edit cells pasted... how to do that on outlook 2011 for Mac..?

thx

I backup Outlook 2011 every six months or so. How do I want to open one of the backups?

I tried opening Outlook with Option key held down, selected the backup I wanted, clicked the "Rebuild" button, and waited 45 minutes. Outlook then opened to my current identity, not to the backup I wanted.

Now I'm trying TimeMachine, restoring /Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities. It says it'll take another hour. Is there a faster way?

Hello,

I need to sync my bosses outlook calendar with my outlook calendar, can someone please provide step by step instructions?

I am working off Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 Version 14.4.7

Also, is it possible to have each of our calendars in different colors, so I may easily distinguish between the two?

I would greatly appreciate all your help! Thank you!

Hi there, As a Mac user, I'm the odd-one out in my team with everyone else using Windows as their operating system. We (are supposed to) archive our emails on a shared server and my colleagues need to be able to read my archives, e.g. in case I take up employment elsewhere and vice versa. Also, it would be very nice if the archives can be searched/indexed without having to import the archives in an email client. I use Outlook for Mac 2011 to handle my email, my colleagues all have Outlook for Windows.

Any advice, anyone? Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Koen

Hi all,

I am using two Mac systems on the same network, with separate users for each system. We are both using Outlook 2011 Ver. 14.4.0. Email is configured to use IMAP, using the same email address as we desire all communications to come from the same source regardless of who answers what (.i.e. *** Email address is removed for privacy ***).

We need the ability to be able to see when one user has replied to an email so we aren't stepping on each other's toes. Currently, I can only see if I've replied to an email - but the other user on the other system cannot. The same applies in the instance where the other user replies to an email, but I do not see a notification icon showing it was replied to.

The replied email will show up in the "sent" folder on either system, but there is no icon notifying the other user that I have already replied to the email. I have checked and ensured the "status" setting is turned on for both programs so we can at least see the icon.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue. My Outlook has crashed several times over the past few months and I've lost all sorts of email due to corruption of my identities.

I've rebuilt identities several times to no avail.

Again for the past two days I'm getting a "Syntax error in arguments" Error code 17099 in one of my email accounts.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling and still having issues from Office 365.

I've also noticed the Word and Excel act up badly as well.

I have just discovered a dangerous keystroke combination in Outlook.  Hitting command-return sends the email you are working on.  I was half through an email to a client and accidentally hit the command-return combination.  Embarrassment ensued.

I would like to limit my ability to send an email to clicking only on the send icon.  No keystrokes, no other way.

Is that possible?

Ive been driving myself semi nuts trying to simply set up an email account which seems to be pretty straight forward..right

Ive followed - https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/8902/setting-up-office-365-in-outlook & https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/426/outlook-2011-for-mac-setting-up-email

Ive tried POP and IMAP and I keep getting the same error ( 2 full days of trying ) - deleted and re entered all options

Exchange - it says I need Outlook 2011 Exchange Server 2007 SP1 update Rollup 4 or Later - where do download this?

Any help or links will be much appreciated.
