Hi,

When we started to use a iMac with Yosemite, this problem was occured.

I updated to the 14.4.7 but nothing changed neither select folder instead double click nor change the wiev to the list.

It works fine in the iMac with Mavericks.

Can it be related with Yosemite?

Best,

ibrahim

Each time I open Outlook For Mac 2011 v14.4.7 it says it is 'repairing folder' and once done, then downloads my inbox. This has only started recently.

Any ideas as to why and how I can stop it happening

I need to delete a gmail account (for some reason Outlook added two extra gmails accounts when I added the original) from Outlook for Mac  2011.  My problem is that the accounts list does not populate.  I have two other active accounts but seem to have no way to delete any of them.

Any ideas??

THANKS!!

I can't seem to login to my Outlook.com email account in the Outlook application for mac. When I put in the address and put in my password, it gives me the error: "Account cannot be added. Note that Outlook 2011 requires Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Update Rollup 4 or later." I was able to add my other Outlook.com account just fine by going to Tools>Accounts and then clicking the Plus in the bottom left corner of the window and select other email with the checkbox "Configure Automatically" selected. I have tried adding as an Exchange as well but no luck. My primary concern is connecting the account as an IMAP with my secondary concern being able to sync my calendar and/or contacts.

Is this a problem with the Outlook program or do I need to configure settings within my Outlook.com account?

Thanks.

Hello,

When I try to add another persons calendar Outlook 2011 adds this person to "FROM" filed as if I could send email from their account. I have found many problems like this but at least is there a way to hide the FROM field from the windows.

Thank you.

P.S.: If this is really a bug I wish Microsoft would solve it. I am also using Office 365 and I was hoping to get a better interfaced application..

I am using the office 2011 on my Mac, and famous spinning wheel is never ending and i have to use force quit to restart.  Any advice on how to overcome the spinning wheel ?

Hi aIl!

have reached out to Apple for this issue and they are saying it's an issue with Microsoft, so I don't really know who to reach out to.  I am running Yosemite 10.10.1 on my Macbook Pro.  I have had Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac installed on this computer since I purchased it in 2010.  Everything ran fine until I upgraded to Yosemite.  My main issue is that my AOL email account will not sync incoming messages correctly in Outlook.  It syncs both of my other email accounts just fine, but the AOL account is not right.  It sends messages just fine, but when receiving them, it imports only some emails and then it also converts emails that I have read on my phone into blank "no subject", "no sender" messages (only in Outlook).  The messages all still show just fine on aol.com and on my iphone.  Very weird.  I have completely uninstalled & reinstalled Microsoft Office.  Again, both of my gmail accounts are sending & receiving through Outlook just fine.  Anyone else have a similar problem?  Thoughts?

Thanks so much!

How do I eliminate the incoming message when I reply. Do not want a string of messages.

Hi all,

I am using Mac OS X 10.10.1 with Office 2011. My email server is gmail. I found that I cannot sync my Outlook contacts with my gmail account, but I can sync the Apple contacts with my gmail account. The sync service of the Outlook seems to have problem.

Is there anyone having the same problem?

Ken
