That seemed to do it.  I created a new ID and set it as the default.  I had some folders that I believe were not on the Hotmail server (I'm probably off on terminology), as they are not showing up on the new ID.  I've tried moving these folders around, attempting to have them be on my hotmail account versus just my Mac, but haven't had any luck.  I now need two things: 1) Get those folders onto my new ID and 2) Enable them to be seen on any device that I'm logged into my Hotmail (iPhone, another computer connected and logged on via internet, etc).  I look forward to assistance.

Is there any way to change the calendar before sending without doing the whole calendar marking all from the beginning?

Dear Outlook community.

Lately, I set up S/MIME encryption in outlook.

Now I noticed that in the column where usually the attachment symbol is shown (if there is any) the signing/encryption symbol is displayed instead.

How can I set up things that I have both, one column for the attachment symbol and one for the signing/encryption symbol.

I did check the available fields, but could not see an appropriate solution.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

When i select a message in Outlook, Outlook hightlight's messages by subject, but ignores FW: and RE: (that's good)
In addition I also want it to ignore New: as well is they way to customize conversation grouping

I am using Outlook for Mac 2011

Hi
I'm using Gmail in Outlook

1. Why is it that I have 2 copies appearing in my sent mail folder every time i send or reply a mail.

2. I seem to have a copy of the same mail in the "Bin" folder and in the "all mail" folder as well as in either the inbox or sent mail. It is tedious to delete expired mail from 3 different folders after awhile. How can I reduce this tasks

3. I like to delete promotion mails in one go but don't know how.

thanks for your reply in advance

Office 2011 14.4.7, PKard 1.6.1 With Mavericks and Mountain Lion, I could insert my CAC at any time, send a signed mail, and get prompted for my PIN. Ever since going to Yosemite, if I have my CAC working in Outlook, take it out, and reinsert it; I do not get prompted for a PIN; and Tools, Accounts, Advanced, Security does not see my certificates at all. Closing and re-opening Outlook will fix. It also seems that if Outlook doesn't recognize my CAC, if I open a browser and go to a web page that requires my CAC, I get prompted for a PIN, enter it, and return to Outlook that at least some of the time I can then send signed mail again.

In the last week or so I've noticed that the advanced find feature in Outlook no longer reliably works. For example, I put in sent by me and today and nothing comes up, even though there are lots of e-mails sent. Or a search only returns the last 3 months of results with nothing before that. I've reindexed Microsoft User Data in the "Privacy" tab of Spotlight in System Preferences and nothing has changed. (To be honest, I added the folder as recommended, closed System Preferences, then opened it again and removed it but nothing really seems to have happened since I don't know how to tell if the reindexing actually worked).

Any ideas how to get the very valuable search function back up and running robustly again would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Outlook for Mac 2011 v14.4.7

Yosemite 10.10.1

I am a new Mac user. I'm trying to sync ical to my new Outlook calendar on my Mac. I have OS X Yosemite on Mac and iOS 8.1.2 on iPad. Essentially, I want to share all of my calendar info import all of my calendar info from ical into my Outlook calendar, then set up ongoing syncing between my iPad and Outlook calendar. I watched the tutorial online, but it was apparently for a previous version of iOS. Please help!!
Is there a way to turn on the text wrap feature in the Calendar? My events are all running into one another and across columns on screen?  All the formatting is GREYed out.
