Hi

I have Microsoft Office 14.3.4 and it has just started uploading 110 items from my inbox every minute.

I do not have an exchange account. My account with my Internet Service provider has incoming mail as imap and out going as mail.

Can anyone give some assistance how I can stop this other than keep turning the connection to off?

Below is a snap shot from the botom of the outlook page.

Is it possible to have Outlook for Mac 2011 not continuously ask if I want to permanently delete this message? I periodically go through my deleted folder and clean out junk that I do not wish to keep.
Is there a way to block end users in a corporate environment from using their own personal email signatures in Outlook 2011 for Mac? Our system admin is utilizing an Exchange server application to add uniform signatures to all outgoing email at our company. While this works fine, if an end users adds their own signature in Outlook it will display both signatures when the email is sent. We would like to disable the signature feature on the Mac side. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have used outlook on a laptop and desktop for years now with no problems.  Both run Microsoft.  I have just brought a Macbook Pro and set up Outlook on it, this took some time. Now  I can receive emails on all 3 devices no problem and send them, but if i open an email on the Macbook first the emails disappear from the other devices outlook, the contents of my in boxes on the Microsoft devices have also disappeared.

It seems my Macbook has all of them in a file called On My Computer, the file that has my domain email (run from Roundcube) is pretty much empty.  I have looked at the settings and cannot find one that says - keep emails on server - or something similar that's been suggested.  The issue i have is that i still have to use the other devices from time to time and as it is a company email account i am talking about it is pretty important that i can do this.

Also of note, before i set up outlook on the Macbook i set up the Apple Email app and this worked fine with no problems and everything was sync'd ok.

Pretty long winded, but basically the Macbook outlook has taken all the emails from the server and i cannot access them from other devices.

Any help or suggestions very much welcome.

After sending an email from Outlook 2011, it will occasionally be received in garbled Chinese.  The user will type out their message, hit Send, and it will appear as if he had sent it in Chinese when it arrives at the recipients' inbox.  When the user reviews the email in his Sent folder, he can see that the email appears in Chinese as well.  I believe it's isolated to Outlook 2011 because the email appears in English everywhere else, and in fact, his signature appears in English as normal.  The user does not speak Chinese, and does not have any multi-language functionality enabled on his Mac.  Our mail service is run through an Office 365 server.  An example of the text can be shown here:

取・貍取縺箴鹿蒹痲昭硼糯タ繽A・鰾∠鱇雕タ琺聶窮苓停ケタォ・硅蜚㍽碵隲迴粤込齔痺綮タォ・硅蜚㈹蜴絖碣縺觝タ゚胄纈∠蓍・∮鞜竇・竢跫鮑タdョ・穐タョ・

Translated using an online service, it reads: Take · Beaver take Lian Zhen Lu Jian Ma Chao boron waxy Tatari  Bean A · bladder ∠ angler carved Tatari enamel Nie poor Ling stopped ke taォ· silicon enjoys ㍽ Tian Zhi in Guangdong includes the postage milk teeth numb the mark Tatariォ· silicon enjoys ㈹ chameleon Kuang Gar Lian butt Tatari゚helmet Valerian ∠ Achillea · ∮ ta ta Dou Bao Si trampling dョョ· ta · Qiu

Obviously this is just gibberish.  Is it possible that his text's formatting is being misinterpreted by the Office 365 server?  If so, what would be a good method to reliably prevent this issue from arising in the future?

For the last three days I keep getting the following message: Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred. Any unsaved work may be lost.

Is this an Apple or a Microsoft problem?

I use Outlook 2011.  Part of my mail is on the Enterprise Exchange Server and the rest on the laptop storage.  Am in the process of upgrading the Mac.  The Outlook version is the same (2011).  Here are the steps I took, but still do not see the archived local messages on the new machine:

1. Copied the latest identity db (called "New Identity") from the old mac to the new mac

2. Started Outlook on the new mac machine with option key pressed

3. Selected "New Identity"

4. Rebuilt the DB

5. Made "New Identity" the default identity

6. Started Outlook

I do not see the local archived mail in Outlook.  What do I nee to do?

Greatly appreciate help...
