Been using office 2011 for 4 years. Needed to restore my Mac. And therefore reinstall office. In the new fresh install i got a "new" problem I didn't have before.

When in Outlook writing an email. I get capital "I" between words when Im suppose to get small "i" obviously my language isn't English. Its Norwegian so I want to change this back to what it was before. Because in Norway we don't use capital I in front of words like the English language does. All my language settings are in Norwegian, and Norwegian spellchecker is activated.

It works perfect in Word and all the other programs. But not in Outlook mail client

I am getting an error code 3210 and 17099 after auto refreshing in outlook. Any body have idea about this problem.

I've begun working for a company that uses GoDaddy.com as the e-mail server/client. My emails are working perfectly on GoDaddy's WorkSpace tool (allowing me to send and receive). I have a days-old MacBook Air and just installed the Microsoft Office 2011 Suite, including Outlook. I am able to add the new GoDaddy email as a new account through Outlook. I can receive emails and use the calendar. However, I am absolutely unable to send emails through Outlook. I have been on the phone 6+ hours with GoDaddy, Microsoft and Apple and no one has a solution that has worked. Please let me know if there could be any settings I'm unaware of with either of these things, or the computer itself. For what it's worth, the email account also will not load or work properly on my iPhone 6.

Below are the things we have tried:

1. Varying between Outlook Exchange or 365 and simply an "other account."

2. Changing port numbers for the outgoing server, smtpout.secureserver.net (25, 3535, 80). When I try 3535, I get an error message that my username and password aren't working. Then I try 25 or 80, I get an authentication error. All eventually time out, yielding an error message regarding a time out while attempting to connect with the server

3. I have tried adding authentication by name/password and also by the incoming server info

4. Restarting the computer and also Outlook after these changes and trying again

Other things to know:

1. Any time I send an email, I see "connecting to smtpout.secureserver.net" at the bottom of my inbox before it eventually times out.

2. Auto-populated port number is 143, auto populated for outgoing is 25

3. I am not connecting via SSL

4. I haven't made any changes to the security/encryption

Do you have any additional tips or methods I can try?

I want a shortcut to insert a signature when I'm forwarding an email from Outlook. In Outlook 2010 (for PC) I use AutoText. Is there a similar facility in Outlook for Mac? Thanks.
In Outlook 2011 for mac I want my signature to appear when I click reply or forward but it doesn't appear underneath the message text I am writing. It appears right at the bottom of the msg history. Can anyone help?
I have a MAC Client and they user Outlook 2011 and a Cloud Exchange Service for email;  We have a bunch of mailboxes for former employees that I need to archive and delete their mailboxes so they do not get charges for the mailboxes.   The HR department wants to be able to access the information for these users (i.e email, calendar and contacts).   I have set up Accounts for these mailboxes and I can export the mail box but it creates a OLM file extension but it looks like I can only import them in.  Is there anything on the MAC side like windows has with a PST file that you can attach and view the mailbox information?

I have recently upgraded my software to Yoshemite. Each time I insert my Microsoft 2011 office CD it rejects it by spitting it out. I have managed to download software using external hard drive. I can not set up my microsoft outlook because it doesn't want to accept my product key. Please help me ladies and gentlemen?

I have recently returned to Outlook for Mac 2011 after about a year of trying Apple Mail and then Postbox. I am using version 14.4.8 with the latest version of Mavericks; provider is AT&T. I use 3 different email accounts. all Imap.

I spent all last weekend migrating over 50 mbox folders using Stellar Mail Converter. A few folders were already Archive Folders, and I left them as they were. The rest I put under "STORAGE FOLDERS" under "ON MY COMPUTER" Everything was fine until yesterday when I first opened Outlook and discovered all my folders were gone! I first looked in the obvious place, "TRASH". but they were not there.

I have not made any changes  in the Microsoft User Data folder or done anything with Identities. There are actually 2 identities, the second having been modified on 3-17-15, which was when I actually finished  the migration to Outlook from Postbox. I have no idea WHERE or  HOW to look in either identity to determine if my migrated files are actually there, much less whether it i even possible to do so. Of course, I still have all my Postbox .mbox folders I can migrate again, but I don't want to do that without figuring out WHY they disappeared!

This has been very frustrating, needless to say, so I hope ya'll will have some answers as to why this happened, as well as what my next step should be.

Thanks so much,

Pat

My employer uses Calendar Groups so that teams can share information about each other's schedules, and also to manage a booking system for our meeting rooms. Most staff are Windows users, and the system seems to work perfectly for them. But some of us are Mac users, and it doesn't seem possible to create or use Calendar Groups in Outlook 2011. I set up a Calendar Group in OWA, but can't find any way of accessing it when I'm working in the Mac client. I've searched for online information about this, but can't find anything.
