If anyone can help

My outlook account on my computer keeps bringing back old emails over and over. Often over 500 old emails that were long deleted up to 3 years ago are brought back into my inbox. I have no idea what to do.

My outlook account does have 2 accounts pulling into it, and i did read that there is a problem with this;

Diane Poremsky posted this comment to this problem previously in 2012;

Outlook 2010, due to changes in how the "message manager" is handled, may download messages over and over if you deliver multiple accounts to one pst file. To fix, create a separate pst file for each account. In file, account settings, select the account then Change folder button to change the delivery location to a new pst.

I however work on a Mac and for the life of me cannot figure out how to change these settings. It clearly doesn't work the same as she explained.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP???

I have set up a new mac book pro.  On the new setup for the outlook account, I am missing folders.  I need to adjust the account so that all folders are downloaded to the mac book pro that are older than 6-12 months.

The folder that are missing are older folders.  I need these folders to show up.  How can I adjust this setting.  I cannot find it anywhere.

Thanks

Dons

they are now missing after doing a Mac Update for Outlook 2011

I have recently had my hard drive replaced in my macbook and the old one is now an external drive. I cannot find the folders to import my folders and mail into Outlook. I have followed this

The following path is the folder you'd need to restore from your Time Machine:
/Users/username/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/

but via my old hard drive but when i get the office 2011 identities and then one of the 3 main identities / data records / various folders each folder just  has a sub folders called OT then OM then OK then a weird list of other folders 1-11 with a letter.

Any ideas please or do i need to take it back to a technician !

My client has an issue dragging multiple attachments from an Outlook 2011 message to his desktop. After selecting the attachments, he must hold the mouse button down for several seconds or only one message will come. The more attachments, the longer he has to hold the mouse button—sometimes 10 seconds or more. This wasn't a problem until he migrated from his Core2Duo MacBook Pro to a new iMac (with 1TB flash storage!).

Anyone else encounter this issue? Thanks!

Seems very strange! These folder only includes raw data. Where could I find the corresponding ".pst"-files that exist in Windows???

I tried to export from "Outlook 2011" (really bad solution) into "Outlook for Mac ver 15.8.1" (hopefully better), but everything got wrong and now I can't find my e-mails in the previous Outlook 2011 nor the transfer to new Outlook went wrong so only partial parts got into the new Outlook!

At the moment very stressed over the situation and irritated as I think this should been a easy and smooth move.

If I used PC I know where to find the pst-files and just save and import to a new Outlook, but in Mac I can't even find the olm-files even if I tried search in many different ways!!!

HOW DO I DELETE FILES IN OUTLOOK ON MY MAC AIR.  CONTROL /RIGHT SHIFT / DELETE WILL NOT WORK.

I have a MacBook Air (mid2012) and recently downloaded Yosemite.

My Outlook will start up but will NOT SHOW A WINDOW.

After you click on another App and back to Outlook, there is a Window that says "UPDATING..." and it hangs.

I tried a Clean Install (with and WITHOUT updates) several times now (Removed old Office 2011 using MS instructions,

reinstall using New Identities and Main Identity) and still get the same results.

I've been to the previous Discussion on a similar issue (BETA) and have tried all the FIXES given but my problem still exists.

Can someone please help? This is torture for 3 days now limited to Web Mail. Thanks so much!

Hello,

I am running OSX 10.9.5 on a 2011 MBA (4gb ram). I have Outlook 2011, v14.4.8 installed. I also have an iPhone 5 and an iPad that I use.

EXISTING SET UP

I used to have an exchange account from my former employer.

I set Outlook to "work offline" upon my departure and continued to add contacts and calendar entries to this account. However, no email traffic in Outlook.

Have backed up this file as .olm archive

I use gmail (web based, app on iPhone) as my primary email.

I have deleted all prior data in iCloud Calendar

DESIRED SET UP

I would like to be able to:

- Add gmail to Outlook (DONE, though still offline)

- Sync Contacts and Calendar from Outlook -> iCloud and Outlook -> Google so that all 3 systems are connected on MBA as well as iThings

PROBLEMS

1) Calendar

- Unable to import .olm data into iCloud (exported calendar, converted to .ics file using OLM Converter, imported to iCal, however only certain entries importing)

- Unable to import this .ics file to google calendar.

Question:

- How do I get calendar data from offline exchange account to iCloud?

- And how to I get this data to sync with Google?

2) Contacts

- Unable to cleanly import tab-delimited csv file to Excel for import into Address Book/ Contacts

Question:

- What is the best way to bring contacts data from offline exchange account into Contacts?

- And how to I get this data to sync with Google?

Many thanks,
