After I had erased the hard drive i used my Time Machine to restore everything. When I tried to open Outlook and used the same Mail Identity as before I received a message that index is missing for my Office databas and must recreate it. Then I imported my latest backup for Outlook an olm file and tried that new main identity. All my old e-mails was there but not my contacts and calendar, they were in princip empty. In my TM I can see my earlier main identity and I have found all my contacts (olk files). The problem is that I don´t know howe to import those files från TM to the second main identity (from olm). I haven´t found where my calendar is in the TM. Is there someone who can help me how to proceed?

I have Outlook 2011 on my MacBook Air, I was checking my mails, then I closed the screen, then 10 minutes later  I reopened the screen to check my mails

and then all my folders, contacts and account on outlook disappeared.

So, I re entered my account in the setting of outlook, and only the new mails reappeared. All my folders with the mails inside disappeared, so did my contacts.

Can someone help me recover all my mails back.

Thank you very much.

Suddenly, yesterday my Outlook kept shutting down. The Daemon kept quitting. I rebuilt the database but the problem continues. Here's the error report I'm getting. Can you tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks.

I recently have been trying to back up my emails about 10GB, and it stops 1/2 way through with a reconfigure database message.

My outlook is otherwise fine, and this just started happening.

I've tried to both my laptop and an external drive.

Any thoughts on what might be the issue?

Hello,

I have a problem in my company where after daylight savings time meetings are shown an hour off in the calendar, but in the body of the meeting the time seems fine. The real problem is when after updating the meeting from it's body (just pressing save and close) the meeting is bloated by an hour.

E.g. if a meeting after daylight savings time is from 11:00 to 12:00, it's shown on the calendar  from 12:00 to 13:00, but after updating the meeting it's shown from 11:00-13:00.

This happens only on the macs in the company.

Thank you.

Outlook for Mac introduces line breaks into plain text mails. How do I prevent this? The problem is described in detail here:

http://blog.yimingliu.com/2011/12/25/outlook-2011-still-mangling-plaintext-emails/

Thanks.

I believe I found a bug in Outlook for Mac 2011 (also present in 2016), but apparently there's no way to report it to Microsoft. If an e-mail contains the null character (u0000, x00), any text that comes after the null character does not get sent.

This issue does not exist in the web client or Mail.

i need the incoming servers and out going servers for my email on my mac lion

i have no email

Hello,

I had some issues with Yosemite and through an OS restore finally fixed them related to this latest update.  Anyway, in the process Outlook no longer recognized my setup.  The main identities were all there in my Microsoft User Data folder, and it requested to rebuild the latest (which was current to that week).  It rebuilt, and Outlook functions fine, but my Local Folders that I had made for storing email off the server are not showing now (and the preference to show them is set).  There is a on-my-computer section, but the specific folders that I had made for storing and organizing my email off server are gone.  The identity folders in Microsoft User Data are still several GB, though, so I would think that the data is there somewhere.  Does anyone know how to get these back?

Thanks,

Eric

Suddenly all my folders in outlook disappeared. I had many folders and subfolders on my computer. Now these have disappeared.

When I try to replace a message to a folder I get a list of all my old folders to choose from. When I pick one of the old folders in this list, the message actually goes there. But than I cannot access it anymore because I cannot find these folders anywhere in outlook. They still should be on my Mac though..

Does anybody know where is can find them and how I get all my folders back?
