Question about Outlook Express

How can I synchronize my outlook calendar and contacts which are created in Outlook for mac 2011 with my Blackberry 9780?

In the BB-desktop-software is noted that

- the service for synchronizing is switching off in the moment (for contacts) and

- protected calendars are on my Mac.

When creating a new email the option to get a picture from file is greyed out.

If I click on options and change the format of the email from html to plain and back to html then the option is no longer greyed out.

I have tried going into preferences and changing the default format from html to plain and then saving it and then changing it back, but the option is still greyed out until I do the switching in the new email that is opened up.

Any idea where I can go to get the new email to recognize that it is already in html format when it opens?

I installed Outlook for Mac update 15.9 yesterday.  I received a security certificate error on my Go Daddy email account today, which I think I told Outlook to accept.  Now, when I launch Outlook, I get kicked out with this error message.  When I look at the Go Daddy certificates, they have not expired.  Can anyone help?

I bought Office 365 yesterday for my mac computer because I really like the email and calendar program. So that installation went fine. Email is up and running. I was surprised to realize I could not sync my Outlook calendar and my mac calendar or their address books! 

Not only that I went and installed outlook on my iphone and just couldn't figure out how to get it to sync with Outlook on my mac. I scoured the Internet for an answer - none. I called Outlook tech support and after having been disconnected about 3 times and routed to several different numbers I was told by a service tech that it is NOT possible to sync outlook on the desktop with outlook on your phone! 

Apparently Apple stopped supporting sync services when Mustang came out. The tech agent blamed Apple. Mustang came out 1 1/2 years ago and Microsoft hasn't been able to figure out how to provide syncing services since?! I am so frustrated i could scream. How in the world do you sell a program that in 2015 does not provide syncing services between the desktop and a mobile device!

I continue to get a message "activation server is temporarily unavailable"  I have seen on this forum that there are Internet Explorer settings that can prevent proper activation.  Is there a similar problem for the Mac?

It is EXTREMELY frustrating that I cannot even use the 30-day trial until this problem is sorted.  If I close the window, it takes me back to the activation screen to start over.  I select 30-day trial and the same failure to activate occurs.  So my purchased program is basically useless.  This version even lacks the "activate by phone link".

I've seen on message boards that you can't share tasks in Outlook for Mac 2011, and in this conversation they suggest connecting as a delegate, but the information they link to no longer exists. 

My ultimate goal is to have a shared task list between my assistant and myself. It'd be great to be able to categorize when it's a task for my assistant and when it's one I need to complete. It'd be great if we could both contribute to this list. 

I have no idea what connecting as a delegate means, but if that's the way to do it then some guidance on what that means and how it works in relation to tasks would be great.

Since updating the "Sent Date" column only shows the first few characters of the full date/time. I can stretch the column as wide as I like, but it makes no difference. I saw another post about the same problem.

I've had both 2011 Home & Student Office and the corresponding Outlook 2011 (14.4.9) installed and operating without incident a year now, until yesterday. Word & Excel both appear to function normally, but Outlook will no longer receive or send email which is of primary use and that is the problem here.

My machine is an Apple Mac Pro, 2009, OSX 10.8.5 (mountain lion), with 32GB of ram & 4 x 1TB Hard drives, all of which have at least 50% or more of capacity open on each of them. Internet access is via Time Warner Cable that goes through a router directly to the Mac Pro, with no other loads on it. The causal event, I believe, was a clean out operation, by me deleting old files, etc., thinking "what a good boy was I". It seems obvious to me, that I must have deleted something I shouldn't have. 

When trying to receive, the error message says authentication failed as shown in the screen shot below. When I looked at the email account user name & password information I saw that the password field was blank, which it should not have been, I think. I put the password back in, but there is no joy, I still get the same error message and nothing sends or receives. I have ThunderBird working now, but would like to get Outlook working again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
