Question about Outlook Express

Hello 

I updated my Mac yesterday to the newest Yosemite 10.10.2, and since then my Outlook has been giving me issues. 

I have 2 accounts linked to my Outlook, one being a work (POP) account, the other is my Hotmail account (IMAP)

It started off by downloading duplicates of all my emails I've received since the update over and over again.  

As well as my junk mail box having 39 emails in it and overtime i deleted them they came back. 

I checked the "prevent nap app" option in outlook's info following advice from another forum. This seemed to fix the junk mail problem and the duplicates being downloaded. 

But now it constantly says "Inbox : Downloading (Status bar) 1/81" in the bottom right hand corner - which i know means its bringing emails in. It completes the download of all 81, but nothing shows up in my inbox. Then it starts all over and says its downloading 81 again. Over and over. 

I can receive and send all new emails from both accounts without and issue, it just says its downloading these 81 emails which never arrive? And due to it constantly downloading these "imaginary" mails, its slowing my computer down terribly driving me insane. 

Please someone help!

Using Outlook for Mac 2011 as required by my employer.  IMAP mode.

When I perform a Search (and perhaps All Folders), for say   From:Johnny

I get a large number of results - snippets and samples of the complete email.

It would be great if the path or Folder that the email was located would be included in the Preview.

(At least mine doesn't)

Hi guys,

I'm dealing with a strange problem. 

I created an HTML signature and it works perfectly on Outlook ( PC 2007/2010/2013) but not so well on mac in Outlook 2011.

If a send an email with text the signature comes up perfectly but if I attach other documents the logo disappear and there's just a red cross.

I noticed that in Outlook (PC) block automatically the incoming images (from Mac) and you need to click trust every time,  but if you send an HTML signature PC to PC everything is good.

I have a simple question that I hope you may help me with.  I don't use Outlook on my Mac.... haven't for years and probably wont for some time.  Now, we have this pesky sync services agent that simply refuses to die.  In Outlook -> Preferences -> Sync Services I don't have anything selected... but yet... the agent lives on.  I kill it... it comes back. 

Since this is an Outlook agent, designed to keep things in sync, and I don't use outlook... how do I kill the Sync Services Agent... PERMANENTLY?

I am just starting to use Outlook as it is now required by our manager. I am using an exchange account. I need to create a new calendar which to share with my office but when I try to do this, the button is greyed out. I have the calendar I want to add it to highlighted but as you can see from the screen shots the button is still greyed out. Please help!!

I had the same problem, I moved the Microsoft User Data to the Desk Top and that seemed to solve it because then Outlook opened but it was empty, no mails, no files, no calendar, no contacts. Where did it all go and how can I bring it back?????

in outlook 2011, how can I create a new member/contact in a certain group using Applescript?

The code below does not work:

make new contact at group "GGGG" with properties :{Address:*** Email address is removed for privacy ***, name:"NNNNN"}

replacing contact with item, members or object was also not successful

Also this code does not work which worked in entourage very well:

make new contact at group "GGGG" with properties {«class emad»:{«class radd»:*** Email address is removed for privacy *** as Unicode text, name:NNNNN as Unicode text}}

Any idea/ solution is welcome.
