When ever i flag/unflag an email in my inbox it will jump to the top of the mailbox automatically. This was not occurring previously. Does anyone know any solutions for this?

I have already fixed the identity and uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook.

I switched from Windows to iMac. Converting of programs went fine. Two things did not work :

1. If I start at 8:32 pm Outlook , all emails are mentioned by todays date at 8:32 pm . Even if the sender sent them last Friday. Can I change that? I often look for an email, the sender then gives the time he sent the mail.

2. I use multiple accounts. I have different signatures created. When I choose another account in a mail , the signature doesnt change accordingly. I was not given the option to set a signature for 'answer ' and ' new mail'.

Does anybody have any solutions?

Hello,

When I use the research tool in Outlook to check for an email received by a particular person, each time, the research doesn't take into consideration the last 7 days. Why ? How can we explain it and correct this problem ? Is there a specific option ?

Kind Regards,

Thomas

Hello,

I am running Outlook 2011 on my Mac.  For months I have been getting emails that are completely blank (no subject, sender, or to field).  I know for a fact that these emails are not supposed to be blank, since I will get good copies (with content) of them on my iphone, or if I log into the webmail portal.  They appear to be linked to my business email account, which is my website address on Register.com.  They appear randomly, which makes it harder for me to know what the problem is.  I would say that 98% of all emails I get totally fine.  But, about 5 times per week, I get some emails that are completely blank, and then I check my iphone and I see that the blank email relates to an actual email I got.  I then forward the email on my phone to myself, and it will show up in my Outlook.  I haven't been able to purposefully make the problem happen.  In other words, when I send email to myself it appears totally fine.

I am not running any anti-Virus software and my Outlook version is 14.5.1

This is has been going on for a couple months now, and we've had almost no luck fixing it. We are running Yosemite 10.10.2

Basically any search in Outlook 2011 immediately give a "No Results" message. Using the same term or phrase in Spotlight proper finds relevant messages, and I can open them after some tweaking.

Here's what has been done so far

  1. We've completely removed the account and uninstalled Office 2011 according to the instructions found here .
  2. Reinstalled office and re-added the account. After allowing time for indexing still saw the same result.
  3. Removed preference files for outlook and rebooted.
  4. Had Spotlight re-index the entire drive.
  5. Tested search under a different identity - same result.
  6. Tested search under new user - Same result.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

When I try to install the upgrade to 14.5.1 it ask me to quit the Sync Services Agent and the Database Daemon.

However if I go to the Activity Monitor and force quit these they will not quit no matter what I do.

So, I can't move forward to install 14.5.1 .

Any ideas or help in forcing these to quit so that I can install.

I am running OS X  Yosemite 10.10.3

I've just installed 14.5.1 and the issue remains. Every since installing 14.5.0 Outlook no longer launches

Hello

I updated my Mac yesterday to the newest Yosemite 10.10.2, and since then my Outlook has been giving me issues.

I have 2 accounts linked to my Outlook, one being a work (POP) account, the other is my Hotmail account (IMAP)

It started off by downloading duplicates of all my emails I've received since the update over and over again.

As well as my junk mail box having 39 emails in it and overtime i deleted them they came back.

I checked the "prevent nap app" option in outlook's info following advice from another forum. This seemed to fix the junk mail problem and the duplicates being downloaded.

But now it constantly says "Inbox : Downloading (Status bar) 1/81" in the bottom right hand corner - which i know means its bringing emails in. It completes the download of all 81, but nothing shows up in my inbox. Then it starts all over and says its downloading 81 again. Over and over.

I can receive and send all new emails from both accounts without and issue, it just says its downloading these 81 emails which never arrive? And due to it constantly downloading these "imaginary" mails, its slowing my computer down terribly driving me insane.

Please someone help!
