I have installed office mac 2011, when I try to set up outlook it asks for my product key which it then says 'Is Invalid'. I have already used this
in the initial office set up so don't understand why it won't accept it
A district blackout knocked out my Outlook identity. This has happened before, so I knew how to rebuild the identity and restore all emails. This time I chose the last modified identity - November 11.2014, but now have a gap in emails between that date and June 1. 2015. So that idenity could not have been the last one in use.
My MS Database Utility has 28 identities listed, including 7 New Identity and the rest Main Identity, so it's difficult to know which one was the one in use yesterday when Outlook was lost. How can I tell which identity to use to rebuild the database? And can I delete all the others?
In addition to this list, my Documents folder has Office 2011 Identities and two copies. How many of these are redundant and can be deleted?
I use Outlook for mac for an email address that is hosted by AT&T (@sbcglobal.net). If my email account was hacked, such that AT&T shut down the email account and I no longer had access to it, would I still be able to see/access my In Box emails received
prior to the shut down time as well as all my archived emails stored in folders in the Outlook program?
On Outlook 2011 for Mac if someone creates a meeting and includes external invitees (in this case Google recipients). The external user accepts the invite and the originator receives the notification email with the "invite.ics" attachment. The attachment is read and the appointment is updated with the attendees status as normal. However if the Outlook 2011 user the created the meeting actually opens the attachment in the response email it breaks the meeting, basically converts it to an appointment and removes all the invitees.
I am able to reproduce this and it does not happen in Outlook for Windows.

The window will sometimes pop-up and then minimize immediately when selected, but most times it doesn't respond to a maximize request
I've verified I don't have multiple Mac desktops running, and when I specifically choose "show on this desktop" it won't maximize
Additionally, once it opens the first time, no new reminders update from the calendar.
It's as if you get one chance to look at it, then that's it.
Does anyone else have this problem with reminders?
I am a person who uses reminders frequently and really need this functionality working. Does anyone know if there is a setting I am missing or a patch I need to apply.

My emails from particular people are either being sent automatically to my Archive folder (even though I do not have any archiving rules set, sometimes they automatically go into my junk folder, and even worse, sometimes they are going straight into my Deleted Items folder so I have no hope of ever knowing I have received the email.
I have been through the rules many times and can not see anything set to be making this happen.
I would be grateful of any advice!
Have a single user who recently noticed that random sent emails appear as drafts when opened.
User has confirmed that recipients have received the emails.
they do appear in the sent folder as expected.
Upon opening the sent email in it's own window, it appears exactly as an unsent draft - all fiends are editable and the sent button is available..
Any ideas?

My Inbox is syncing, unless I empty cache every time, but after a while again ONLY INBOX IS NOT SYNCING, all other sub folders are UP TODATE. I have rebuild the database, created a new identity, updated to the latest version, but Inbox keeps saying downloading
20 attachments and keep repeating the process. There is no solution till, now, Any suggestion please help!!! SOS!!!
I have tried the recommended solutions to rebuild my outlook for mac 2011 email data set dozens of times with no luck.
I am running office for mac 2011 14.5.2 (150604).
I have copied only the folders specified in previous posts to the new identity directory to no avail.
I have roughly 450 gb of free space on my drive.....

I've a user who's emails aren't showing in the correct order,
As you can see in the image, the sort order of the emails is being displayed incorrectly - not in chronological order.
We have carried out the following:
Amended the Arrange By properties, removed + re-added the account to Outlook For Mac.
Outlook version is 15.8.2 which is the latest stable release within our organisation. Connected to Exhange 2013 / O365 account.
Isolated to one user.
Issue still occurs with both Unread and Read emails.
Issue does not occur when using Outlook on Windows machine or when using Mail app on iOS device.
OS version is Yosemite.
User can send / receive emails successfully.
Any help would be most appreciated.
