I am trying to create a rule in Outlook for MAC 2011 that does the following: if I receive an email and the subject contains any of a long list of words/phrases, the email is forwarded to a specific email address. I have figured out how to do this by making a rule like the below:

If any conditions are met:

Subject - Contains - Word/Phrase 1

Subject - Contains - Word/Phrase 2

Subject - Contains - Word/Phrase 3

...

Do the following:

Forward to: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I did this for just one email address, and it took a LONG time to set up, and I need to do it for several more addresses (each with its own long list of words/phrases). Any ideas on how to streamline this process? Is is possible to do something similar to the below?

If any conditions are met:

Subject - Contains - Word/Phrase 1 OR Word/Phrase 2 OR Word/Phrase 3

Do the following:

Forward to: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Any help is extremely appreciated!

Hi,

I am experiencing display name issues in Outlook for Mac 2011 similar to this issue:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macofficeo365-macoutlook/outlook-15-displaying-incorrect-from-name-in-list/bedd155b-c551-4db6-9242-b8259dce456f

However, the problematic emails are coming from Jobvite.com who have an email system that sends messages from unique email addresses under the alias *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The issue occurs when the affected user receives several emails from the Jobvite notifications alias from several different senders. Instead of displaying the correct sender's name, it will display another sender's name from a previous email.

For example: Ned Flanders replies to an email from Marge Simpson through Jobvite. Marge receives his email in Outlook for Mac 2011 and everything appears correctly. Then Homer Simpson replies to an email from Marge Simpson through Jobvite. Marge receives the email but sees Ned Flanders in the display name when the message is clearly from Homer Simpson (DOH!).

So far I have not seen this occur with any other sites that provide similar services.

Here are the troubleshooting steps that I have already taken:

- Deleted then added Exchange account

- Completely removed Outlook for Mac 2011 then reinstalled

- Updated Office for Mac to latest version

- Cleared auto-complete cache

- Renamed *** Email address is removed for privacy *** in address book to Jobvite Notifications (Jobvite's solution that didn't work)

- Changed Sort by Conversations to Sort by Date (worked with some emails but issue still persists)

Please note that this does not occur in Outlook Web App - only occurs in Outlook for Mac. Also note that the email header shows the correct sender's name:

From: Homer Simpson *** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

To: Marge Simpson *** Email address is removed for privacy ***>
Reply-To: Homer Simpson *** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

My outlook for mac 2011 on my Mac book pro has been saving a document file since hours now, and when I tried shutting down my mac, it prevented it too. Everything else is working just fine, please help me solve the issue.
I have Mavericks running on my mac book pro and for my mail client I use Microsoft Office 2011 for mac. Ever since I have updated to Mavericks, Outlook for mac downloads the same emails repetitively and it doesn't stop. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue, also i dont want to loose my emails and the operating system crash. Please help.
