I have a couple of users now with this "problem"

We use Outlook 2011 for Mac with Office 365 Exchange

They will go to their sent items folder and open an email so they can forward it but the only option available is Send.

This is only on a few emails, most of them have the Reply, Reply All, and Forward buttons like normal.

I have a 2009 Imac with IO S 10.6.8. I have windows for mac 2011 installed.

I used hotmail for all my emails, which is now outlook. My problem is that I cannot attach any documents to my emails through outlook. I can send written emails and receive large attachments, but when I try to attach, an error message comes up after the upload which says "exceeded file size limit", even when the document was 850kb.

I log onto my outlook account through safari browser, then outlook home page. I do not use outlook mail through my 2011 windows.

I have just bought a new surface pro and I can send large attachments through outlook.

I know my imac is old but I want to get a bit more life out of it yet. Any help please?

I am using Office.mac 2011

We use Outlook as our default email account, the server we are currently on is a 3rd party & I want to take the domain name to 1 & 1

My main worry is that when I alter the setting for my server in Outlook from a POP 3 server to 1 & 1 which is an IMAP server will I lose my email history

OR Is the email history on my Mac saved to my folders.

I have already backed up by exporting to my Documents & also a memory stick apparently this data is stored in an OLM file which I don't believe I can access??

Thank you to anyone who can offer any assistance

Hi,

I have Outlook on Mac (Office 2011 for Mac).

How do I turn off Auto Format for emails? (Auto-Bullet, etc.)

Cannot find any option for this in the preferences, or in the Format menu.

Thanks,

I just bought Microsoft office for mac 2011 and every has downloaded except my outlook? It asked for my product key I put it in and it say "The product key is not valid. Make sure that you entered the correct key.  If the key doesn't work, contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support."  what'd I do?

I have a hotmail email address, and an associated password.

Apple Mail imports hotmail emails as expected, using the address and password. Outlook tells me that my password and/or username is invalid. I can't escape the cycle of endless alerts announcing this problem unless I delete the hotmail account from Outlook.

I can access hotmail through the web, in the expected way.

I'm getting the error message "this identity can't be opened with this version of outlook." The help forums say that I should run AutoUpdate, a utility I've seen and used before.

But I can't find it. One forum post says it is in the Application Support folder, in the Library, but I don't see it. Another says to go to "Help" and click on "Check for software updates." But that just takes me to a page saying I should click on "Check for software updates" in the Help section! (An endless cycle/Catch 22.) See attachment.

Anyway, how can I find and run the updater? (I even downloaded and installed a new version of it, as part of my quest.)

Hi - I am posting this question again as I got one reply the first time around but it hasn't worked so thought a new un answered question might attract a new approach!

I have office 2011 for Mac, version 14.5.2 latest install. I have 2 IMAPS on my Imac and Macbook Pro Laptop and since installing Yosemite my passwords for the two IMAPS just won't save.  I have been to apple but they say it is a software compatibility problem with Office. I have tried reinstalling the two IMAPS but it doesn't seem to help - any ideas?  It is very frustrating having to keep on putting in passwords - it doesn't just happen when the computers are turned on - it happens constantly,
