Hi!

I´m not able to access any shared calendar on my outlook 2011 for Mac.

I go to "Open Calendar" and select one of the many shared calendars that are available on my company... Outlook processes my request and the "Open Calendar" window closes, but nothing happens!

I´ve also tried to open the "Other User´s folder" trough the File menu, and nothing happened as well...

Please help!

Thanks.

Regards,

Ignacio.

Outlook 2011 on Mac has an opening splash screen.

Mine is corrupted so that it opens showing the name of one on my clients. Not my Name.

This 'wrong name' also appears on every email I forward and confuses repents as to who actually sent them the email.

How do I correct this?

Thanks

Phil

I am moving from Windows to MAC and with almost 7K contacts and 5.7K calendar items I MUST retain....this is a challenge.  Since I use Office Professional 2010 and have many categories set up for tracking and the categories are not easily supported in the Apple iCal application, I am running Office for Mac 2011. I will then sync Outlook Calendars and Contacts with iCloud to get the data on my iOS devices. Some questions.....

1) I used to verify that the proper number of entries (Calendar contacts, tasks etc) moved when importing the PST; could do that by clicking on the folder, properties and show total number of items.  I can see the total number of contacts and tasks at the bottom of the contact and tasks window; is there a way to see the total number of calendar items?

2) I am used to viewing contacts by Card, I have read this is NOT available in the Office Mac version and the closest is the detail view, have not been able to find where I change view; where is it?

3) Is it expected that the Office Mac 2015 Outlook will have features closer to the Windows version?

4) It appears there is no way to set a "file as" view on the Mac version as you can on the Outlook 2010 version, am I correct?

5) Opening a new contact window, Organization and Details are greyed out, not sure what is in there but a way to find out?

Any other suggestions for resources would be appreciated.....wish the user experience folk would realize that folk would be more apt to upgrade and change if the core view was kept....modification is fine but when we learn where stuff is and how to do things, and they are changed dramatically it is a BIG learning experience most don't have time for :)

I have a Office 365 subscription and the only downloads I can find now when I log in is for Office 2016.

Unfortunately we still have a Exchange 2007 server at our office and Outlook 2016 doesn't work with it.

Can I download Outlook 2011 somewhere and use the rest of the Office 2016 suite? I've searched everywhere now.

TIA

A user in my company reported an issue with her managers shared calendar. Everyone in her department has access to it and are on office 2013 or 2010 her manager is on 2013.

when she attempts to add an entry into her managers calendar she has to invite him this sends her manager an email each time. she is the only user in group on a MAC and as such her manager is asking why she keeps sending invites. If she uses OWA she can add to the calendar without issue. Is there anyway to rectify this or is it an idiosyncrasy with 2011?

I have an issue where the column "To" in Sent Items includes who I sent the email to and all the people I cc'd into an email. It results in me having a lot of different groups of emails and makes it very difficult to find later on (If I email someone constantly with different people on cc, it can take forever to find the last email I sent them). On the PC version the "To" column has who I sent the email "to"....exactly how it should be. Is there any way to change this?

Thanks in advance!

My wife spilled water on our Mac Air. Apple store said it was destroyed. I was able to remove flash drive and get all the files for the Mac. After let it dry out for a week I was able to get it to power up. But it would not boot. Apple walked me through reinstalling system software but I need to erase everything on the flash drive. I now boots. I set up the system to match what it was before the crash. Now I need to restore Outlook especially the calendar. How do I do that with all the files retrieved from the flash drive.

I have a MacBook Pro and a Mac desktop.  I have had a personal msn.com email account for 19 years.  All of a sudden on July 30 I cannot get emails.  I can access the internet, I can send emails, I can get emails on my iPhone 6 but I cannot receive email.

Two guys at the Apple store worked on this problem for two hours - couldn't figure it out.  Called Microsoft Tech Support - they wouldn't help me - referred me to answers.microsoft.com.  No help there because I'm not smart enough to read all the posts on there which refer to hotmail and outlook.   There is nothing that I have seen to solve msn.com issue.

HELP!!

Outlook downloads emails over and over from server unless I clear server. I only want it to download emails once even if emails remain on server. This problem just started by itself
