This is an old problem but I have not been able to search emails and contacts recently.  I THINK it is related to the 14.5.4 update but do not have proof of this yet.  To troubleshoot, I have moved folders in and out of Private in Spotlight, rebuilt the Spotlight database, completely uninstalled Office and reinstalled it.  I have also rebuilt the Main Identity.  I am at a loss on what to do next.  Is anyone else having similar problems?  Any suggestions on a fix?

I cannot create outlook 2011 signature on mac as correct form that i copy and past from microsoft word

How should I solve it? please Help me.

I am transferring my emails from old mac to new mac, using mbox file method.

After import, some emails' receive time shows the import time, not the real received time - which shows correct on old mac outlook.

Half folder on new mac has this problem, and not all emails in this folder has this problem, e.g some shows wrong receive time while others still correct.

Can anyone suggest what's going wrong and how to fix it?  Thanks in advance.

Since installing Max OS X Yosemite I also have 'Recovered files' folders building up in my Trash and in those directories there is a single file 'MerpAD Database Daemon'.   I have a build up of these files in my Trash folder and they won't delete when try to empty the Trash.  I have seen some similar postings with answers suggesting that you go to /Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MERP2.0 to uncheck the enable office error reporting, but  I have gone to /Library/Application Support/Microsoft and can only find an 'Office' and a 'Silverlight' directory, no MERP2.0 folder.

Can anyone help?

Hi Everyone,

Using Exchange account on MS Office 2011, Found data of 55GB in Microsoft Data Folder.

That is for approx. 5-6 year archive email.

But question is why so much place any workaround or suggestion are welcome.

Personal opinion: Most of MS products have teething problems when it comes to Mac

Realize this is a repeated post, but from years ago.  Are there 2015 fixes for this problem?  Need to know if I proceed with uninstalling MS Office 2011 and reinstall to re-establish identity?  Sadly, have done this often in the past and it's time consuming..any new fixes?  On OSX 10.9.5.  Replies needed.
My outlook 2011 is closing due to a database error.  I verified permissions, try to rebuild and/or repair database but with no luck!  As i use IMAP, I therefore created a new identity and started my oatmeal which now works.   I now need to access my archived files, but don't know how to access each email folder individually and when I try to export mail in one go, outlook presents the error message and forces me to quit the application.   I tried working offline but to no avail.  Does anyone know how to export only smaller mail folders and/or subfolders?  OR does anyone have any other solution to my problem please?

I have 9 different email accounts set up in my Outlook.  2 of these (both exchange accounts) are no longer active, so I want to find a way of "deactivating" these, so the do not try to access the server each time I start Outlook.

The information in these accounts is critical though, so I do not want to "play around" risking loosing all the locally stored messages.

What is the best/correct way to do this...?

I'll ask this question in two parts:

1. Does Outlook have a URL scheme for items? As in, something like how message://example will open mail.app?

2. Given an item that's been obtained in Applescript via 'selection', how can I get that URL?

I am trying to figure out how to change the setting in my Microsoft Outlook 2011 that allows my account to automatically save a copy of the sent messages in the same folder as the original message. I have found directions for 2007, 2010, and 2013 but not any for 2011.
