On many of my sent emails from Account#2, it is also displaying my Account#1 email address rather than only my Account#2 email that i am actually sending from.  It will say "sent from Account#1 on behalf of Account#2" (even though I'm sending from Account#2).

I either select Account#2 as the sender when composing an email, or reply to an email sent to Account#2, and it instead displays my Account#1 email address first, which is intended to be private and is the whole point of using Account#2.  Account#1 I use only for personal contacts, and Account#2 I use anytime I have to sign up for something and/or submit my address into a form which most certainly acquires spam.  I've been able to keep Account#1 mostly spam free with this method.  It's also an issue of personal privacy & security.

So what's happening now is that my private account (#1) is now being displayed to all the public recipients who can now collect my email and spam me.  It has also caused problems with mailing lists b/c my messages are coming from an email which is not subscribed to the list.  This didn't use to happen and even now still doesn't happen every time I sent from Account#2. It seems to be intermittent, but i haven't looked into it deeply enough to find the pattern.  Though it does occur on most sent emails from Account#2.

When i searched Outlook Help for this it said to even enable this feature you have to be using Exchange, which i am not, so i don't know how and why it's even happening.

thanks

I have Macbook Air, and have Microsoft Office+outllook 2011 for Mac.

When I send emails from my outlook, the formatting I do, fonts I use

get jumbled up when the mail is received by the addressee. (recipient)

The font size gets reduced by 25%. 12 becomes 9.5, and 14 becomes 10.5.

Hi

The Auto Complete on Outlook 2011 jumps between sorting contacts by first name/last name.

Is there a way to make it only search by first name?

Thanks

MAC - OSX 10.10.5; Office 14.5.2

New load of Office onto new computer back in Dec/Jan so this is not a data file that has been building for years.

Yesterday, all was fine. Turned off and unplugged the computer late afternoon as we were supposed to have bad lightning storms. Started up this morning - everything seems to be ok. Started up Outlook and my task list is about half the size it normally is (and I wasn't that productive last night).

Everything else in Outlook seems to be ok - calendar is there, at quick glance my completed tasks (which I had to change some settings to view) are still there, Contacts look ok.  It just seems that half (maybe 60%) of my open tasks are gone.

Doesn't look like any filters have changed - certainly I didn't on purpose.

Have not tried anything yet besides restarting program, checking filters. I had bad experience with rebuilding Outlook on previous computers so I wasn't rushing to do. I do have a copy of the Office 2011 Identities file made two days ago as part of a general backup.

So should I try to rebuild, just replace the whole Identities file (or something else), delete a preference file somewhere, or ?????

Help please - I feel lost without the computer telling me what I have to do.

(PS: no syncing to a phone or pad or anything like that either - just turned off the machine yesterday, turned on this morning and had the issue)

How do you change the color of the default calendar in Outlook 2011 for Mac.

I use Outlook 2007 at work and it's easy.

I have Office 2011 home for mac and now want to add outlook
Since the last update from office2011, outlook stopped loading new mails. I have a mac mini 2.7 Ghz with with 8Gb  memory and Intel Core i7. OS=Yosemite 10.10.5. I can still send mails, but when I want to retrieve new e-mails I get error code -5000

Cannot see any folders that previously appeared in On My Computer in left panel.

I have a POP gmail account.

How can I get them to show up again?

I frequently e-mail links by using Safari's built-in "Mail this page" feature, and I have Outlook 2011 set as my default e-mail client.

Sometimes, when I perform this action, Outlook doesn't automatically add my signature block to the e-mail along with the hyperlink.  Other times, it does.

How can I ensure that Outlook includes the signature each and every time I try to mail a link?

Hello,

I currently have an account that I would like to receive emails for, but do not want to use that email account to compose emails. By default, my emails seem to send somewhat randomly from the email address I don't want to send from. Is there a way to disable one of my accounts from sending emails, but yet still receive emails for that account?

I am currently using Outlook on a Mac.

Thanks!
