Hi

I have a Windows 7 PC and a Windows 8 laptop that I use to access files on my skydrive through the Skydrive app. I have noticed recently that the files from one PC does not appear to be updating in the skydrive on the other. I have recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on the PC and wondered if that could be an issue and how do I fix it? Otherwise what other issues could be inpacting this?

I tried several times in the past month to send email from the email account: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to my hotmail account: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The email had never arrived on my inbox or junk or deleted folder. Today i tried to send another email to my live.com account: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but it never showed up in my inbox or junk folder. I contacted my mail provider (primetel) and submit my troubleshoot and they came up with the answer that the email was send out from their server and received from hotmail server. The answer was the following report:

Please provide me with a solution on this problem as soon as possible.

I have had a work email and person email for over a year.  One is through "live.com" and another one is throgh "*****.edu"  both emails have always worked fine but for some reason yeseterday messages sent to my "****.edu" email address is being sent to my live.com email address.  I didn't make any changes to either email address.  It was very random.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I set up my email to use IMAP for Outlook.com on Outlook 2011 for Mac. All has been working fine but since yesterday I keep getting the following error whilst trying to check my email

 

MAIL COULD NOT BE RECEIVED AT THIS TIME

 

The server for account xxxxxxx returned the error

Error 8: Server Error. Please try again later. Your

username/password or security settings may be

incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your

password?

 

The strange thing is it will connect to my deleted items or one of the folders I have set up in Outlook.com occasionally and sync them fine, but the majority of the folders won't sync and I get the above error. The fact it connects at all I assume means my username & password are correct.

 

I can't find any reference to this error code elsewhere so I've no idea how to correct this. I am not sure whether its my settings which are wrong (however, it has been working previously and nothing has changed) or its an Outlook.com error.

 

Can anyone help please?

My mailbox is completley full from an email  i sent from my work email to hotmail. It has replicated over 5000s times. I deleted all these emails from both sent/deleted folders yesterday but 400 more appeared today.. what could the issue be with? Hotmail or my work email?

Just changed to Outlook.com, downloaded and using the Connector...

 

Receiving mail fine - but can't send - dialog box appears and says need to input authentication letters (or sounds) but they never appear.

 

This is VERY frustrating - can send from web mail but not from Outlook - surely this should work seamlessly.

 

HELP PLEASE - before I switch to another generic email provider.

We operate several reasonably sized websites with approx 1m users.

Following a server migration 11 days ago, we are now using a new IP. During the migration, we updated our SPF records which is stated as being sufficient for SenderID to pick up the change in IP. We're also subscribed to the JMRP and process NDRs to remove users and keep our lists clean.

However, from day one of using the new IP we received 421 "we have limits for how many messages can be sent per hour and per day" errors.

I have been in contact with Hotmail Sender Support by email (I have a ticket ref if required) who advise me to wait until our IP's reputation has improved enough (from neutral) and advise me to use SPF/SenderID and JMRP (which we already do). I was told they use SenderScore which shows our email traffic as consistent for several days.

They refuse to help any further than to advise us to wait an unspecified amount of time (could be days, weeks or months). In the meantime, our customers cannot receive emails they pay us to receive.

I feel this is most insulting considering we've done what they suggest and we're a paid Microsoft Partner.

Can anyone advise on how to have this issue resolved? I'm out of ideas other than placing a notice on our websites that Hotmail/Outlook.com are refusing to accept our emails and that we suggest they use another email provider - not something I'd like to do.
