When in hotmail, I had contact group set up.  How do I find those groups on Outlook?

I am using Office Professional 2010 (64-bit) and have my email in Microsoft Hotmail accounts (2 of them).
Outlook is linked via the Outlook Connector (64-bit) to enable 2-way sync of mail and calendar with my online Hotmail accounts.

I frequently, on my first attempt to access my Inboxes, get the error message box:
    "We were unable to sign into your account.  Please try again.  Could not authenticate against the Windows Live ID service.  Please try again later."   "OK"

Three times out of five, if I empty the Trash bin on one of my two accounts, synchronization will happen at least for one of the accounts.
What are possible causes of the error message?  I'm using Outlook to access my email with frustration on the extra tweaking needed to get the recommended tool (Outlook for Office) to work from nearly the first try with this combination of parts ('account'@Hotmail.com, Outlook Connector (64-bit) and Outlook for Office (64-bit).  I apologize if this is an old / many time posted topic, but after searching 5 times and not finding a similar post, I decided to put it out there.

I was unhappy with the change from Hotmail to Outlook, but have managed to get used to it. What really annoys me is the column of 'hints' or 'try this' suggestions which occupys a quarter of the page of incoming and outgoing draft and sent emails.

I have tried in vain to find something to click on to delete it.

Please help or I will have not choice but to give up Outlook/Hotmail and use my other email accounts with Yahoo and Three.

These items I'm talking about are not advertiements. They are originated by Outllo/Hotmail and refer to

1. Skydrive - "try this

2.Move or delete with Sweep - "learn more"

3. Register your computer as Trusted = "do it now"

 

I've read these and choose to ignore them. I just want this column out of the way please.

when i log in it says someone else is using my account, please help me ASAP, need my emails

when i try to log into my hotmail account, it tells me that someone else may be using my account and then when i try to retrieve my account through a text or phone call i receive neither and i do not know the email that they would send the password recovery link to, somebody please help me, I desperately need my emails.

I canot find n options windows so that i can add or delete contacts. this is extremely frustrating and makes me extremely angry

I have spend an hour trying to edit and add/delete contacts to my account.  Why is this sooooo difficult???

I have folowed the advice in the forum and it does not help...I do not have an options window under my name on my account!!!

Please give m a step by step explanation of how to edit my contacts list.  THANK YOU.  Why did this get changed????
