Is anyone else having trouble receiving e-mail from another account via POP?

When I started using Outlook.com, I added my Gmail account as a send/receive account using POP.  This has worked flawlessly for me, until last week.


It seems that sometime around 10/23, POP stopped working.  I no longer receive any mail (via Gmail) in Outlook.com.  Also, when I try to edit the account information to verify that it is correct, an error is displayed simply stating that there is a problem.  Here are the steps that I follow:


In Outlook.com, I click the "gear" menu in the header.

Click "More mail settings"

Click "Your email accounts", under "Managing your account"

Click "Details" next to my Gmail account (labeled "Send and receive") in the section "Accounts you've added"


A message box is displayed which lists the following information:


"To send email from this account without "on behalf of", update your SMTP settings."

"Messages have been successfully retrieved from this account."


I am given the ability to click an Edit or Remove button.

Click the Edit button.


The message box is closed, but I'm then presented with a screen which states:


"Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now"


Initially, I assumed that maybe there was a known issue that was being worked on, so I let it go.  It's now been over a week and I've grown tired of having to check both my Gmail account and Outlook.com.  Most of my family and friends use my Gmail address as it has been in service for many, many years.

Help … Is someone using my facebook picture on their hotmail account???

Hi There

I wonder someone can help. A friend tryed emailing me today to but instead of emailing my actual address of my.name@hotmail.co.uk (obviously not my actual email address) but instead she emailed my.name@hotmail.com

My actual email account doesn't have a profile photo attached to it. However the .com email account (which isn't my email address, and has NEVER been my email address) has MY photo (which is my facebook profile). Is this some kind of weird system glitch, or is someone using my photo as their profile picture for their email account for some weird reason?!?!?

I wanted to contact outlook support but I can't find an email address for them.

Please help cos it's kind of freaking me out.

im unable to get into my other email account as someone tried to hack into it and ive changed my phone so i cant get the text or call giving me the code and when i tried to fill in questionarre im unable to remember any email adresses ive used recently

Why am I always blocked out of all my hotmail accounts?

Since the change over to Outlook I have had problems with all my hotmail accounts. Almost every time I log in it says the password is incorrect (it isn't) or that sign-in is blocked. I have managed to get mine working as when it says its blocked I just restart the page and try again and it works. However my flatmate is blocked out of both of hers, we emailled the form to re-open it and both times it said not enough information was provided (surely she's not the only one who can't remember recent email subjects without looking???). Any help on unblocking hotmail accounts that were blocked for no reason in the first place?

Lost Emails!

Dear Microsoft Community, 

I've recently logged back into hotmail to find that all of my emails have been deleted.  This is devastating as hotmail was my first email account, and I had hundreds of priceless correspondence archived neatly therein.  Please, please, please tell me there's a way to retrieve.

Hi,

I'm trying to register my new domain "galpao168" with outlook.com but am getting the following error:

This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

"Galpão 168" is the name of the co-working space for artists we just inaugurated. Galpao means "warehouse" in Portuguese.

Please advise how to proceed.

Problems with sending group message in Outlook. really need Help

I thought I sent this out before, but I can't find it.  I have several groups that I send a weekly email to each week.  I have started having problems when sending the email to the group it shows as sent, but no one is actually receiving the email in the group.  I can send to individuals in group separately and they receive it fine.  Any suggestions?

I deleted my previous alias by mistake, but now I have a very very important message to receive by this alias. However, it says "We limit how frequently you can add aliases to your account. Please try again later."  So what should I do? It's so important to me. How can I recover it ?
